Hearing you recap this series, it's kind of nice that the show respects unrequited love. So many series I've watched or read always make a character fall in love with someone just because that person had been in love with them forever. The message almost implying that they owed that person reciprocation because they'd been at it so long. This story accepts that sometimes someone isn't going to love you back and you should respect that decision.

I ADORE Kids on the Slope! ❤️ I first discovered it in sub, but watched the dub when I shared it with my Dad, who absolutely loves Jazz. We caught a poster of his favorite performer, Miles Davis, in the opening overlay. 😊 I’ve also made several AMVs to the show, and the duet between the boys in episode 7 is still one of my favorite scenes EVER. It gives me chills. Thanks for talking about it!! It’s still a gem that everyone should watch. 🙌🏽

I absolutely loved this anime way back when I was in high school and I enjoyed re-experiencing it through this video! Keep up the good work with these! Also, I watched the sub so their dub voices are new to me and I have to say that Sentaro's voice actor sounds like Zac Bagans, one of those ghost hunter guys- it made me chuckle cause his voice is so unique 😂
