5:20 Greece, Aris Bc (game Aris vs Paok) 9:05 Serbia, Red Star (game Red Star vs Moscow) 11:20 Greece, Panathinaikos (game Panathinaikos vs Barcelona) The best fans in Europe are frome Greece Serbia and Turkey...followed maybe from Moscow. Spain has not fans like them in basketball. I 'm from Greece and i can tell you that greek fans are the most fanatical from football and basketball to volleyball and waterpolo. The biggest derbies in Greece are Aris vs Paok and Panathinaikos vs Olympiakos.

@@easye3850 American Basketball players couldn't handle the pressure of this. They can't stop the game about a fan being some sort of way and if they try run up and go in to get a fan, they won't make it out alive. Ref can't do shit for you here. The European games are very nice to see. Atmosphere and the games. I am Dutch, all football, but my Greek wife watches religiously. Such a calm, reserved woman, accountant,reading books. When she watches basketball, she is cursing, waving her hand, whistling loud. She is from Piraeus, I am from Eindhoven,it's a strictly Red & White Household.

In Europe we have the euroleage were the best teams of Europe play in a league and then we have the Final4 were play the best 4 teams in that league in a weekend . That defines the champion of Europe. Just great.

It's not about encouraging fans to come, they already fill out stadiums and then some, it's about showing support whether they're playing good or not, it's dedication to the club.

Sonething i´m wondering from long. why are such atmospheres in stadiums not possible in the USA? Is it a question of culture, safety, is it forbidden by the authorities? The US has the most popular basketball in the world and its audience is amorphous, boring, ultra disciplined.

in america basketball (or any other sports) is entertainment, in europe your club is like your religion. you would do everything for your club and thats what makes it so special here in europe. the clubs are rooted in the culture of a city, your grandfather was fan of it and your children will be too.
