you asked how they know what song ti sing? there are oraginzed groups and those groups are no joke they are dangerous a lot of fights is there but the passion of those supporters known as Ultras is un real they will die for the club and those organized groups have their leaders its like an army for example: partizan (partizan club) name of partizan fans is "Grobari" in grobari there are smaller groups "vandal boys" "alcartaz" and many more and for grobari there are some leadres and they are givnig you order for songs and for tifo and many more things sry for bad english

I can't speak on other fans but after after a smoke bomb was thrown onto the pitch at Red Bull Arena (in Harrison, New Jersey), New York City Football Club was hit with a fine by the league and our allocation tickets were cut from having a section for 1,500 supporters to 500 (and we're still only allowed 500 in our own section on the North side of the stadium when we visit for a game). The league was never to happy with the teams supporters as smoke bombs in the stands were a regular occurrence.

"If that where to happen in America, they'd be fined, the fans" I highly doubt that. Are they gonna fine everyone that attended the game? How do they know that everyone threw stuff in the court, maybe some people didn't, how could they tell who did and who didn't. I get they have cameras but they'd have to watch back the footage like over thousand times and then look up those that did and those that didn't and personally fine each and everyone of them. Too much admin work if you ask me. The most they would do is force the team to play games in an empty arena, but how good would that look on tv? If anything you'd be punishing the league cause it's not attractive playing in empty arenas and the home team gets punished cause they lose the advantage of their fans.
