Beautiful board and a great presentation. Giving the dimensions of the wood to be cut was very much appreciated. Just one thing, you didn’t mention the rough length of the stock. My guess is between 36 to 42 inches.
@EigenDesigns8 ай бұрын
You are dead on! The boards were 40” to begin with, which yielded three boards that were 1.75” thick.

Thank you for replying so quickly. This is actually my business and I am going to try your design. I will absolutely give you credit for your design. I believe you give credit where credit is due. I am very impressed with your videos and your designs. Keep up the good work.

Do you offer or sell plans for this board? It looks like you used 2" thick wood, and I attempted to make it with 1" wood, cause thats all I got. When I got to the final glue up the dimensions didn't match, and so I wasted a nice chunk of exotic wood. Just curious if their were different measurements need when using 1" wood, as I would love to try and make it again. Thank you.

Some wood workers have access to cheap exotic woods and can afford to waste too much. No wood wasting 🎉

Nice looking boards, Am I incorrect or is the pattern messed up on the board you showed the juice groove and orbital sanding on?

I was just wondering if your shop and equipment is being used for the very first time, haha. WAY too spotless in there.

😂 I get that comment a lot. I make an effort to clean my shop in between projects. I find that if it’s messy, I am less likely to go spend time in there.

Great looking board! I really like the design and look. What size router bit did you use for the juice groove? I did not see it listed in the list of tools. Happy 4th of July.

Obviously a board as intricate as this will take a few more tools to make though. There are plenty of other cutting board styles that can be made with fewer tools. You can always have a woodshop dimension the lumber for you for a couple bucks. When I first started out, that's what I did when I didn't have a planer or jointer
