Bass Boat Docking Deck Lights - Lowe Skorpion

Installing some LED docking lights on the front of a Lowe Skorpion bass boat. This will allow docking after night fishing to be easy. I'm using Nilight - 60001F-B Led Pods 2PCS that I purchased from Amazon and mounted on the deck of the boat.

beautiful install. gonna be running your setup on my bass boat! i might do four lights though and have two on the other side so i can have two facing out front and angle two like 45 degrees to the left and right

Thanks! I would probably have done 4 but the trolling motor is in the way on the port side. I’m thinking of getting a different trolling motor and if I do, I may end up adding some lights

@@Subariblet yeah my trolling motor is off on the port side as well but i think ive got enough room to make it work! but your video has definitely helped and inspired my idea to set these lights up on my boat! look forward to putting it together on mine!

@@Subariblet ended up getting the four installed on my boat! two facing forward and two facing off to the side, just wanna say thank you for your video, made it super easy to get it done!

You can use stick and fishing line to pull wire don't have to buy the wire pull stick 🙂 and I am going to buy 2 for my kayak to do night time bow fishing

True. I’m sure there’s other ways to do it but the fish sticks were cheap and I’ve used them for other projects. They are handy to have.

Did you wire to your trolling motor battery or starting battery?

No. The lights are LED and don’t use much power.
