This is the sound I am aiming for! All those Darkglass pedals are great, but, to me, something is still "messy" in the way they sound. I've watched a shitload of demos of those pedals and was not able to find the sound I would like to achieve. Fortunately, KZbin has recommended me the channel.

Sweet Rodney, you always inspire! I kind of stumbled on to that "funk" style on my own a while back and I guess watching you really validated that I was on the right path so I've incorporated it. It blends really well with tapping, kind of like ghost notes maybe. Anyway good to see you bro!

Nice as alway brother McG! Oddly enough back in the 80's I always had a whammy bar on a few of my basses. I currently picked up a Dave Ellefson bass I am going to put a Kahler system on it :)

Will you be talking about the whammy pedal in a future post? Have you used a Kahler bass tremolo to do a comparison?

I will be doing an effects video at some point. I'd like a kahler, but they seem to be overpriced even used. I wouldn't compare the whammy to a Kahler. Two totally different outcomes.

Kahler is more expression, whammy is a different animal. You couldn't hold a trem at exactly one pitch and keep playing rapidly
