Agree! Even though this is one of the newer channels, these reviews are some of the best around. It's nice to hear from someone who has a very similar riding style as I do

I got the older version of party !I found out that it was a little bit difficult to turn on this board on flat ground seems like this board always lose edges,sometimes I can not find the tail edge when I was going straight, I usually use a little tail edge for going straight, I think because of the 3bt, when go straight the board will turn by itself, and was easily lost control! This season unfortunately no powder day, so I cannot tye in powder, but for carving,it really can lock into the turns!

Ya, the 3BT takes some getting used to. I'd say this version is better at finding that contact point on the tail. it's not so loose back there.

I m confused about the lenth of the snowboard. Should I choose a shorter one?Or I want to know what's the difference between 151 and 154?

What are your specs?

Longer will be more stable at speed and float better, shorter will be more playful and easy to turn. All sizes are very wide, so take that into consideration. Your weight puts you right in the 154 range.

If I’m 170cm,67kg what you recommend for me 148 or 151?thank you.

I find it kind of weird how much room they leave you to move your front foot forward of reference. Is anyone really going to use the front most insert?
@scotto8279 ай бұрын
It is for people with very wide stances. Im only 6' but my stance is 24.5" width.
@Drift-Products9 ай бұрын
On this board I would for sure be increasing my width via the back foot and not the front. At least for powder anyway.
@chadlucier9 ай бұрын
Reference's are generally set in the center of the sidecut. You want to move both binding for and aft to keep the board feel the same. Going only back will make a board slow to engage and quick to end its carve/turn.

Definitely depends on the board but definitely something to keep in mind.

I've got it set all the way forward after I've heard some people mention it and it works.

I own the normal versions of both the party wave and the cruiser and i like the party better.. I find in the 157 there's a lot more stiffness than advertized.. and the long nose of the cruiser seems to be bucked around more.. that's my take..
@Drift-Products9 ай бұрын
The new party wave shape? The nose on the cruiser flaps for sure. That’s one downside in my review of that board. I like them both but prefer the cruiser + overall.

Board was ok. Gave this board a lot of tries bombing snowbird on powder days. I prefer the mega merc

Agreed, it's good but doesn't dazzle. I like the Cruiser + a lot more. But I'm of the opinion that short and wide boards without any taper are pretty much overrated across the industry.

I got the previous version of PW+. This board is very average at all usual scenarios. I would even say not interesting. And don`t even try curving because it doesn't have enough edge and support on the tail. But I recommend it for some reasons. And I`ll explain why. The only situation when it works better than 99.9% is a deep forest with a mid or large slope at powder day. How good it is for this, just as much it`s terrible for everything else. Anyway here you don`t need riding extremely fast, edge control, float on the flatty fields, to be stable on different snow condition or something where this board sucks or just "ok". First of all you have to do a million fast turns under the snow to control your speed between trees, and PW+ can do it easy without pressure precisely because this board is short and has a no tail feeling what even you can`t do on a long snowboard which just gets you tired as f**k or can kill you against a tree if the snow condition is very heavy. Another fact is very easy jumps on a short board with no fear of digging in snow and It floats on a very low speed. The first days I don't trust it on landings and I was always ready to take a tumble because I use to ride 6-10cm longer boards. Those who ride it understand me. The nose of this board seem unusually short like you try to freeride on a street\jib board. But then it becomes the norm. All this reasons make this board a some kind of Jeep Wrangler. Good chois if you want to explore unpopular forest part of resort or get lost somewhere with stupid friends or just gives a lot of fun and truly skateboard feeling if you ride on pillows between trees. I always take this board like the second one if the place is good for this style and the weather gives a suitable snow condition. literally this option is actual not more than 10 days per season in my region especially if I have a chois of few boards. But if it happened, it`s always great.

The new version is better than the previous, but it still doesn't blow my mind.
