Batch processing with xTool S1

Learn how to create multiples of the same item in one project. Batch processing allows you to create your custom items, faster. The S1 does not have a camera, instead it has a unique way of marking material to you can accurately place your designs.

You say your going to “measure the distance”. Measure the area of what? And what are you doing to measure the area?

It would be the same process, but when you start marking select the polygon instead of the circle. Then it will prompt you to select your points.

There is not, you have to re-do the positioning when you add more. However, xTool is releasing a new version of their software today. I'm not sure of all the features but there might be something new relating to this.

Best option on the S1 would be a jig so you can consistently place your items in the same place each time.

Unfortunately, Just not a good “how-to” video. Actions are completed without explaining to the viewer exactly what is being done. Every moment of the video where there is silence is a lost opportunity to explain exactly what is happening and what the maker did to cause that action to occur. For instance, if you say you’re going to measure the distance…be sure to explain what it is you are measuring, the process you are going through to achieve that task, and any buttons in the software or on the machine you are pressing to achieve said action step.

As a new user I found it a very simple yet explanatory of how to use the machine in the correct way. I was very easily able to make my coaster. I found this video one of the best how-to’s iv been looking for.

This was pretty easy to understand. Maybe you should check out other laser videos to get a general understanding of these machines

@@noelv1976 sure. It’s easy to understand.but that doesn’t make it a quality “how-to” video. There are basic steps when creating videos showing the viewer how to do something. Some of those things are clearly not found in the content. This, not a great video.

@@charleswalker6109 well this wasn't a "how to for beginners." Nothing in the description says that. This was catered to people who have a general understanding of these machines. Again, there are tons of other "how to's" in KZbin that you can check out.
