It always seemed like Batman and Robin copy and pasted the final Batman Forever script and just changed the characters and hiked up the camp

Well the screenplay is good. The way Arnold Schwarzenegger did an amazing job as Mr. Freeze, he's a good one to me.

You see, Tim Burton's first Batman movie is about pain. Batman Returns is not only about revenge, but also about rampage. Joel Schumacher's Batman Forever is about duality. And Batman & Robin is about reckon with loss, so those films had dealt with these issues that Burton and his friend Schumacher had add those themes in their films.

I just thought I'd mention that aunt Harriet was in fact a character in the Batman comics. She was created in the comics after dc killed off Alfred. Also in both the tv series and the comics, she is dick Grayson's aunt and not Bruce Wayne's.
@SuperHousePodcast3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Anthony. Yes, Harriet was in the comics before the 66 show. Goldsman seems to be under the false impression that Harriet was Bruce's aunt (he has another reference to her as Bruce's aunt in his rewrite of the 2002 BvS script) when, in the comics, Bruce's aunt was Aunt Agatha.

@@evanzaremba4722 He seemed that way, in I think the unmade script in one of the older videos. I can't remember which one it was, as this was over 8 months ago.
