I love the fact that Bruce actually admits a lot of pity for Guts, while implying that he may actually consider breaking his one rule with Griffith/Femto. Here’s what makes Griffith the exception to Batman’s rule, is that Griffith/Femto has never paid for his crimes. Quite the contrary the bastard created his own kingdom and is deemed untouchable even to Guts who he has struggled and trained to beat him. Bruce definitely would take notice of this and would actually do what’s necessary to take Griffith down by any means necessary.

Griffith is just a prime example of "I'll mourn the man you once were, not this monster you've become" and "He's beyond redemption now." Griffith was a good man and made sacrifices for his own people. The Eclipse couldve been avoided if he and Guts communicated with one another. Guts left because he wanted Griffith's respect as a true friend and believed the only way of doing that was finding his own path. As per Griffith's words. Not realizing that Griffith already valued him even higher than his dream. While Griffith believed he was being betrayed by Guts, who he risked life and limb a few times to save and that Guts was being ungrateful. Of course Griffith always had deep seated issues of possession and control though these were kept at bay with his friendship. Guy lost everything he built after Guts left, unable to maintain his composure and made horrid decisions. Utterly tragic.

Batman could create a robotic armor similar to Guts Berserk Armor that can cut down demonic enemies. But it would have to feed off Batman's rage, rip into his flesh, & tear his body apart.
