3:28 As twisted and sadistic as Joker's words are, there's a bit of truth to what he says. @@MrBenedick14 The Joker has always been sinister and dangerous. Don't know what you mean. But unlike the newer portrayals, the Joker was always the Clown Prince of Crime...he is a bright jovial personality..full of fun energy, hilarity, dark humor and a deadly prankster (the acid flower, lethal joybuzzers, chattering fake teeth, etc). He is supposed to be the antithesis to the Batman's grim dark personality. It plays on the idea that dark can be heroic and brightness can be sinister.

I love Nolans Batman, but there are so many epic moments in this clip that will be never be topped. Also, in the comic book version of the film, you see the dollar Bills have jokers face on it.

Nolan's Batman films are rather banal. They are well crafted action films but they lack colour or creativity.

The part at end when he says if you gotta go,go with a smile. That laugh at the end maniacal as he’s about to kill hundreds. Jack was the best maniacal madman that is the joker.

Ehhh...you really need to watch Batman '66, Cesar Romero's Joker is fantastic in that. That was actually the inspiration behind Mark Hamill's voice over as The Joker.

All Jokers minus that Letto one are solid. All seriously unique and special for their own individual ways. But the insanity and humour Nicholson pulls out just tickles me every time. Every scene, every line, pure fn gold every time

Say what you want about Ledger and Pheonix putting their own twist on this guy, nobody has embodied the maniacal charisma and madness of Joker quite like Jack Nicholson.

What makes Jack such an incredible actor is that even when it's not intended for him to come off as funny he is funny. Like what he says here "he's at home, washing his tights." LOL

You can complain how this movie is dated, the Joker just being Jack Nicholson or how lame the special effects are. But they got Joker's motivation right: he just want to create chaos. At this point in the movie, he took over all the gangs in Gotham and the city is under his control, but still he just wastes a ton of money to kill a bunch of people just for a laugh.

Both of these scenes are why this film will forever been one of Batman's best. The Joker comes out and shows he is a man of his word and dumps cash on to the streets totally stealing the show. Yet at 2:28 you have one of the best entrances Batman will ever have. The music, the gadgets, the vehicles and the determination Batman has to stop the Joker just get better and better after finding out who he truly is.
