I love how the ending of Batman murdering the Joker would be a problem conflicting with the vast majority of Batman canon except this game was so hard that only 42 people ever saw it in 1990.

@@darthzod7537Batman literally wanted to beat Joker to a gruesome death in the movie . He knew that shoot-tying the rope onto Joker's leg would let him lose grip of ladder to fall to his demise .

I would have been around 3 when this game came out. I remember playing this game in '89 or '90 but it was so hard and I never got passed the first boss. I hope I can find a copy of this game, put it in and play it until I finally beat it. When they played this game on James and Mike Mondays some years back, James finally beat it and Mike said to him "Its like a chapter of your life has finally come to an end", or something like that. Maybe I'll get there too some day.

First boss is Killer Moth who is a Batman villian introduced I believe in the 1950s or 60s. Second to last boss is FireBug who was in the comic series as well and of course Joker at the end.

One of the best NES titles of all time! However, I always found the ending hilarious where Batman throws the Joker off the clock tower. Everybody knows that Batman doesn't kill criminals, he just beats the crap out of them and brings them to justice. Aside from that, I still love that game!

I used to both love and hate this game as a teen. Took me a while to win it. Remember in the movie when Batman fights those giant leaping mutants in the sewer, dinosaur tanks in the caves, then throws Joker off the building despite his anti-killing creedo? Neither do I...lol

lunavixen015 in the batting scene he fires on the platform with machine guns and kills eight joker henchmen. He also throws the ninja guy down a belfry like 10 stories to his death. This is in the 1989 Keaton film
