Konami's soundtracks were so spectacular. I still listen to the soundtracks for Ni ja Turtles and the SNES version of Batman the Animated Series to this day.

Have always felt Batman Returns was a spectacular movie and of course I just had to play the game. I owned the NES version, as the SNES version always eluded me. I did eventually get to rent the SNES version, and felt that it truly was spectacular.

There are plenty of horrible to middling beat ‘em ups of that era. This one did a lot right mechanically, and it also a very good representation of the film as well as an impressive showing with sound and graphics.

I have never been the biggest fan of side-scrolling beat-em-ups, but this one, and Turtles in Time broke through my defenses and are very enjoyable. Both do a relatively good job of breaking up the monotony that plagues the genre so much... also, both being IPs I have been passionate for years and years, didn't hurt, either LOL

I highly recommend The Combatribes and Two Crude (Crude Buster). Both are very unique and technically solid beatemups with a good amount of depth in the gameplay 👍👍

I didnt mind it but would have preferred to also have the Genesis version ported over with upgrades colors and sound. By the time it came out I was pretty over the "Beat em up" games, there were so many and the ones we wanted werent on the home systems. X-men and Simpsons.

This game is a classic. Over the years, I seen hack games with widescreen, in a strange way I wouldn't mind this game hacked and made "Widescreen." Some Hack Games don't stray to far from the original and those I can play. Because some folks are different with change & I respect that👊 Every Original game that gets release is The Real Way to play, "good or bad." Though some hacks fix games....??

I could’ve sworn Capcom made this game. It must be a Mandela Effect for me. It is even being compared to “Final Fight” which was made by Capcom. The gameplay and style were so similar it seems wild to me that it isn’t Capcom. Konami makes awesome games, so it makes more sense than if it was now being spread that JLN made it. In that case, I’d have to call BS. I’ll assume that I must have remembered it wrong, especially when being presented with the facts. However, I would be curious how many other people remember it being a Capcom game instead of a Konami game. 🤔

@retrogamingmaniac yeah i dont know what triggered it but you were unable to move back to the train platform and your top half was the only thing visible (if i recall). But remember..no ingame saves and nothing could hurt you so all you could do was reset. That was the only location i ever got stuck with that bug .
