I've said this many times. Batman was never meant to be a character people should aspire to be like. His very mission is to insure that nobody else ever has to be, that no 8 year old boy has to watch his parents be murdered. He is Batman so that nobody else has to be.

I didn't grow up watching the animated series (I was born in 2002) but I will not deny the quality of the show's writing and voice acting talent and I'm glad to own it on Blu-Ray now. I would definitely call Kevin Conroy as the definitive actor for Batman much like Josh Keaton for Spider-Man.

Yeah, I never got to meet him and I wish I did. He seemed to be such a great person. His Batman taught me how to be a good person. He will be missed.

@@TehElimanator I remember I met him at I believe L.A. Comic Con for the premier of Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman I was so little. My dad took me to go see him I was so shy I couldn't say anything, just hugged him and I got scared and ran back to my dad. I'm glad my father showed me this show when I was growing up.

His name is Kevin Conroy. You definitely have heard his voice before as he voices Batman in a lot of things. He was Batman in Batman the Animated Series, Justice League, and plenty of other animated projects. He sadly passed away a few years ago so I made this video to honor him at the time.
