In a lot of ways, this film is so much more than a film. It’s a celebration of art, storytelling, the importance of expression and the belief in creativity. It’s difficult to not watch the film with rose-tinted glasses. As a creative, actor and writer myself, I am beyond thrilled for Zack Snyder and his family! That he had this chance! It’s truly awesome and wonderful to see the vision he wanted to share with the world come to life! #restorethesnyderverse

In fact ZSJL feeds directly into Aquaman, even if Aquaman played a bit fast and loose with DCEU early canon. Such a shame ZSJL (in some form resembling Zack's vision) wasn't released in 2017. DC wouldn't be in its current mess.

@@pip7967 @Professor Utonium Possibly. But I also think Secretary Swanwick aka Martian Manhunter has lived long enough to know how a gem Lois is. He has seen how she shines the light of truth through journalism in a world where darkness is pervasive. She was the first to discover true hope in that world and when she finally became one with hope lost it. And what a better way to inspire her to come to the world than through the persona of the mother of hope herself, Martha Kent. Truly, just as he turned into the alien and back to Secretary Swanwick, and said "Lois, the world needs you", it did make so much sense and impact considering that the existence of all the races be it Martha as a mother or woman, Sec Swanwick as a man and minority, and Manhunter as an alien, they all need hope and only Lois who is married to hope can make that happen. That is layered. Deep. #restorethesnyderverse

This movie was a piece of art painted on the digital canvas. I loved the artistic shots and the framing and composing done. Any cinematographers out there aspiring to make great cinema should watch this movie. This is what cinema is all about.

As with all of Zack Snyder's DCEU titles, it's an intensely moving film, but without the need for humour based relatability. It doesn't shy away from dark subject matter while simultaneously shining a light. The emotional highs I've experienced, especially from Man of Steel and Zack's Justice League, imho are quite hard to come by in the cbm genre.

I don't like talking about my down moments anywhere anytime. But you Brett, inspire people. Not to talk about negativity, that should happen too somewhere else, but to talk about hope. This will sound bitter but actually it was necessary, so it was beautiful for me. I lost my hope. I've been losing it since 2016. I wasn't aware of it. I've been in some dark places that I've never thought I'd be in. I saw darkness. I almost crossed some lines this year. I thought I was stronger than this. I've learned I wasn't. There may be some more darkness that awaits me in my future but for the moment, 2 weeks ago, I woke up from a nightmare. Since I saw that dark hole's bottom some things changed in me. I've regained my courage. I saw some significant light finally that can help me. Some gears started working but most importantly this movement , since 2018, this movie & Zack helped me regain my hope. I hope that others can find their light & hope as well. I wish you all the best.

And to think that mojority of the Audience missed this messaging, states that people or majority of the society are living in a fantasy, and wants to escape reality instead of helping out and reaching out to each other.

it's a film about grief and how we can overcome it, cyborg feels for the death of the mother and later the father, flash feels for the father wrongly imprisoned and his dead mother. Aquaman is angry at Atlantis for the alleged death of his mother. Diana at the end of the film wears black believing that her mother and sisters were killed by steppenwolf. Marta and lois feel for superman's death and even at the end of the joker movie tells to mera that Batman knows exactly what it's like to lose someone he loves.

For me this, and in some sense the entire trilogy is all about the love (and loss) of family and how that shape the moral code of the characters. Clark and his both fathers, Cyborg and his relationship with his mother AND the love/pain he feels for his father. Diana and his mother and Bruce even himself was a father that lost a son at some point offscreen. Its a love letter that shows us that is all about coming together and loving each other, a message that is very personal to Zack since his personal lost. I love this movie and have seen it already 8 times. What a phenomenal journey that came out as this larger than life massive, epic superhero movie for the fans
