After you corrected Mad, and he ran towards Savannah, and maybe that is why Battista got protective over Savannah? If Battista does love Savannah a whole lot, that may have been the motivation behind Battista's actions.

You are right. That could totally be the case. 🙂 Resource guarding Savanah, resource guarding the car, resource guarding the position that is higher off the ground,... in the end Batista "used" the approaching of Madmortigan as an "excuse" to go for him. It was not an outright attack, it was a try to start a chase and body slamming sequence with Batista having the body language, that he was not entirely playful anymore. 🤔🙂 In the end, Ms Rachel's success in keeping grown up unneutered male dogs without fights lies therein partly, that she stops them BEFORE they get really serious. 😁 That is the lesson viewers really can learn from this channel, to see WHEN they should stop their dogs and doing so consistently. It is really good, that you saw that being able to access Savanah could be a reason. In the situation it is not important, the timely interruption is important. Still for anytime after such encounters for future situations such analyzing is helpful. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

LOL , I have beloved girl cats named Zoey (Mom) and Yuki (oldest daughter/oldest sibling kitten) versions of Batista that I will call my bitc*** yet I love beyond believe! They’re sweet and gentle yet they have bad girl sides too if they have moody moments. Mom and her daughter Yuki are too much alike in their dominance behaviors yet they’re best friends who loves hanging out together.

I love how starting around 15:07 Preacher put himself between you and Battista. He's knows his role very well and that is what makes him the perfect dog to have. I swear if the B-man had knocked Savanah over that definitely would have been a slo-mo moment. Hoping she didn't get hurt of course but he just doesn't realize how powerful he is and us watching would really get to see how powerful these dogs are.

Imagine telling such a powerful breed to “be quiet pls” “oh no, don’t do that” 😭😭 I fell in love w. this breed because of your program. I’ve always loved the dominant breeds but grew up surrounded by pits. I’m in the DMV and a pet corso isn’t something you see everyday. But to see this breed in their natural way and behavior is just 🤌🏾✨ (that’s my chef’s kiss lol) I have a lab (**how did I end up w. a Labrador of all things? My son 😭 I would have a Chow if it was up to me**) and I use some of your management ways with him and he’s amazing. People just need to stop babying these BEASTS. These are animals, not accessories. On another note, the STCC males are just stars. Such proud handsome boys. I love to see them show off lol.
