Holger Viñan according to reviews it still isn’t as good. Some reviewers actually got really bad wobbly mouse buttons on the model O- while others got a little less. There is virtually no wobble or rattle complaints on the finalmouse.

After a year of owning a model o, switching to a model d, then finally trying a mm710 I have finally figured out what feels so wrong about the model o. The problem with the o, and o- by extension is in the aggressive wedge on the "butt" of the mouse. When using the model o and pulling it back towards the palm of your hand, it doesn't settle against your palm like almost every other mouse, but instead digs under your palm, making it feel like its slipping from your hand. I have been staring at the model o, next to a WMO for months trying to figure out why the WMO feels so good, and the O feels so bad when they seem so close. I thought it was the low sides of the O, which are still a slight issue, but Im convinced the big problem with the O is that long butt digging under your palm. The MM710 obviously doesnt have this issue and feels almost/maybe as good as the WMO.

thats how i feel about finalmouse ultralight. my pinky is is going past the mouse by about 1mm. With my hybrid finger tip grip supported by the ring and pinky finger knuckles. Think mm710 would be better. But 0 minus has wider skirts so to speak which could feel better.

Hi! My hand is 21 cm - I'm 205 cm tall. Buying Glorius Model O mouse was a mistake in my case. I bought this mouse because of positive reviews and because it was slightly bigger than my previous one. It doesn't mean that it's a bad mouse - especially for a majority of gamers but for people like me (with very big hands) it is a bad choice and I regret it mostly. I can see how this mouse is a great choice for people with avarage hand size - about 17 cm - but to be honest it's not even about size of the mouse but the shape mostly. I can't explain that but I have big problems with pressing buttons with my grip which is a mix of finger tip/claw grip. This mouse is terrible for this style but I can totally see how people can use it with a palm grip. For some reason I have to press way more force to press buttons than with my previous mouse - especially when I have to tap it very fast with a specific pattern. Lifting this mouse feels weird and unnatural. This mouse got a great sensor, it's build of good material and weight is amazing though. My previous mouse was Logitech G203 which is over 1 cm shorter in length and a few mm shorter in height - but grip felt way more natural and easier even with my massive hand. Weird. it seems that G203 got a higher profile on the backs instead - so you can grab it more eaisly. Learn on my mistake and don't go with the hype. Do more research instead and check more options mates. btw.: I play a lot of shooters: QC, Doom 2016 (speedruns), Apex, cs go, etc. I use 400 dpi and lower sens. so I lift my mouse a lot.

I just got an mm711 and after watching this video i realized that the model o wouldnt have that back hand support which i need. My aim and mechanics got so much more smooth after switching because i used to have a 130 gram mouse. Thank you so much for making this vid! I prefer the shape of the MM710 for my claw/fingertip grip-maybe a bit too wide towards the back though. The Model O- gave me nothing to hold onto and my hand would cramp trying to grasp it (poor side button placement caused mis-clicks too). If the larger Model O were a tad shorter it would be excellent for me. I have 19cm x 10cm hands.

Few things, the mm710 isnt actually out yet as they are addressing concerns about the mouse and on the model o-, they kink the cable hard right out of the edge which can affect the cable durability.

I was doing great with my G102 before, then got my hands cramp every now and then because of the unusual shape. Got a new G403, happy with the shape but not with the weight and length (not for claw grip). Now I just bought the MM710, and I couldn't feel more comfortable while gaming. Thing's perfect for my hand and feels like a part of it because of the weight.

Am I the only one with an MM710 that doesn't rattle, and basically has none of the problems any reviewer has gotten with the mouse? Aside from LMB and RMB having the barely-noticeable-in-real-world-use side-to-side movement, which is the only thing causing rattle-like sounds (if I hold them or even just lightly rest my fingers on them, the rattle stops). My only problem with the mouse is that the matte finish is wearing out a little quicker than I expected, which doesn't bother me but might bother some people. Great comparison video though.

You can clearly see the sensor on the o- is above the center.. where as on MM710 it's slightly below or in the middle (which I think being low is ideal, as it increases stability in precision shots. The advantage of sensor being a little lower is, the distance you move the mouse to cover the same distance on screen to flick and swipe is less compared sensor being higher whereas you need to move a little more with your wrist/fingers which makes you more precise to lock on to target on the same sensitivity... So you get best of both worlds) if the sensor is above the centre line then the opposite becomes true which makes you less precise...

Great review! I'm debating whether to get a new mouse due to the grip I use. I have the Logitech G502 which is great but if feels a little too big in my hand. I use a fingertip grip (resting wrist on desk) and I find it tricky with the G502 at times because it catches my palm and I hate that. @@scambible I ended up getting the MM710 and honestly its the best mouse I've used in a looong time. It was a little weird to get used to because its around half the weight of the G502 and sometimes it doesn't feel like you're holding a mouse, but I feel its definitely more comfortable than the Logitech. I use the G502 for general use now on my work laptop and it feels like I'm using a brick now in comparison. The sensor is as good/a little better than the G502 (IMO) but the comfort, flexibility and lightweight of the MM710 wins it for me, especially with how cheap it is. I also see RBG as pointless on mice as your hand covers it 99% of the time and makes it heavier.

I'm looking for rubberized grips to put on the O- , the matte finish slide a bit too much for me. I've tested adding molded silicon on the side and buttons and it felt WONDERFUL but the solution did not last. With the corrected grip the performance & comfort is outstanding even coming from a 74g previous model. BTW the paracord mod is totally worth it.

Dude, dude, dude......dude, try the Skoll. I was skeptical cause I never heard of the company before, but after using it for the last month my aim has gotten insanely good. It's not too big nor too small, it fits in my hand like a glove now. Really give it a shot if you like the palm grip.

I cant fucking believe that no one is talking about angle tunability. Its a huge plus for any gaming mouse, it turns shitty aim into good aim. By giving people more room to grip the mouse in a way thats most comfortable and gives the most control without sacrificing perfect sensor orientation and thus 1 to 1 movement.

Alot of gamers dont have a clue that they are holding the mouse sensor in a way that provides an severe disadvantage. Angle tunability, which the cooler master provides is huge and needs to standard across all gaming mice.

feb 2020 coolmaster software upgraded to allow to turn off extra dpi settings (and idk what else). Clik is a bit of a fail for me on the collermaster, right clik is noticeably stiffer than left on the one I got. I should have just tried the O minus first. I am fingertip style anyway, and will probably like the shape better.

like yLewis7PT said, its Quake Champion, been playable since at least 2017. As far as deathmatch FPS coming back, Im not so sure, they have a hard time to get new players in the game. When you watch tournaments of the game a lot of people are saying learning the movement is too hard and a barrier for new players. Its just not the most popular type of game right now. I play the game but not 1v1. I do team deathmatch, instagib, capture de flag and holy trinity most of the time.

Zowie mouse click is harder to click which might be a benefit. I never tried both but according to what I heard, I recommend the g pro wireless for its feature

Be careful with purchasing the Model 0! It is by far my favorite mouse purchase but a chunk of the community has been experiencing issues with it. The mouse cable can be broken very easily. I am 100% going to keep mine even though it disconnects with every swipe. Just going to purchase and install a parachord USB.

Yeah, this might be the cause of having the cable bend in a right angle in the box. Btw. there are also some guides for making the Model O(-) wireless using the internals of a Logitech G305. This is what I'm probably gonna do with my Model O-.

i own both and prefer the model o - the mouse buttons feel better and i like the shape and of course the rgb however they are both very similar so i really just comes down to preference
