This is fantastic but it’ll never beat how my friend plays Atreides, where he effectively turns them into a constant cycle of ads for bribes to get reliable info for extremely high prices, or unreliable info in the form of a riddle for lower prices. There’s also a bribe to turn off the ads. We have not yet found a rule to forbid any of this

My favorite Atreides moment... The Atreides player got ahold of the Poison Blade and had the time of his life for 2 turns gutting the table with it. Then the Atreides made a mistake, they went after spice with 2 troops I moved after him with a stack of my BG forces, Voice: "Play the Poison Blade" and took it from him. The look on his face was priceless as I turned a runaway game for the Atreides into anyone's game. I love the predictable nature of Dune, it's about outsmarting your opponents not beating them with randomness.

I've always wanted to capitalize the movement advantage with the Fremen to make a deal with them beforehand that I'll let them know when any worm will come up. I feel like there's a real potential for a good deal with them.

Agreed that storm order is underrated. Makes me think about if you've ever considered a card that reverses storm order for a particular instance? Might be overpowered to allow for ship/move, but could be fun to reverse it for battles (and advantage on a tie).Clearly should be use once and discard

Even the Ecological Testing Station token from expansion 3 has a major impact on play, when it had a -1 to storm movement.

I'd love to hear more people discuss who they like to ally with as Atreides and who they will generally avoid allying with if they can help it (especially now with nexus cards).

When I play as Artreides, I'll not ally myself with Harkonnen, for the sake of lore, even if it means going solo even when nexus cards are not in play. If I play Harkonnen I don't have problem allying with the Artreides, if the other player is up for it....
