We went to Goofy’s Halloween weekend as well, Saturday breakfast, and the total was a little higher than we thought was worth it overall. Service was top notch, they did keep things stocked and fresh while we were there, and the characters were exceptional and the costumes were super cute and went great with our medals. I think if we would have done it for a different meal we would have thought it was more worth it. 💯 agree that the peanut butter and jelly pizza is fantastic in that nostalgic childish kind of way. Total w/ tip was almost $160 for 2 adults

For a buffet, Storyteller’s chilaquiles was pretty legit and I really enjoyed the bread pudding.

I have been to the Storytellers Cafe, and I loved it, but it's been quite a while since we've been to Disneyland. I love the Disney buffets in general. I hardly ever attend them, because as I've gotten older, my appetite has diminished to the point where it is nowhere near cost effective to eat there. But, every now and then, I go anyway, because they are so good I just have to say, "Damn the price!" My favorite is Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort at WDW. We try to go there every couple of visits. Our other favorite restaurant, character meal but NOT a buffet, is 'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort. We try to go there every time we're at WDW. We have a reservation for this coming January. We're taking our granddaughter who is a HUGE Stitch fan, and I can't wait for her to meet him in person!

I usually only go to these 2 restaurants is for breakfast but it looks like Goofy’s might be a better choice for lunch/dinner and I usually get to see all the characters @ Goofy’s where the other restaurant I usually only get chip, dale, & Pluto 😂

I really wish they would sell Minnie's costume for real people... That skirt and sweater she's wearing at Storytellers are precious and I would wear the living heck out of it!

While the price is ever so high I would still choose the Princess breakfast at Napa Rose over these two. It was the best meal we had during our Disneyland trip.

Does anyone know why the food at DLP sucks so much? It was so confusing to me. We went from actual Paris where we had excellent food to DLP that had the absolute worst food I may have ever had in my entire life. 🤷🏻‍♀️
