This was pain. This was frustrating, quite frustrating. I've probably never been this frustrated while working on a track. I simply had no idea what to do with this in ORAS style so here's Pokeli's Professor Oak battle theme in low quality Zinnia trash style lmao.

Actually, Pokeli wasn't the original composer This theme was taken from a Japanese ROM Hack called Pokemon Fiya Red S

I was so surprised someone actually made a remake of this!?!?? It sound amazing. I actually started writing a transcription but I only managed to do about half of it. I was hoping to make a cover but gave up and haven't been on it for a long time. I csnt believe someone actually made one of the skg haha

I am glad you liked it! It was quite hard at first and I had to put this on hold multiple times. There were even times where I considered dropping it but you gotta keep going if you wanna proceed no matter what the challenges are!

@@ViciousHobo Just like Pokemon! This remix is actually quite epic! I love and the nostalgia hit being related to Gen1 and Oak the Guru of pokemon, it brings tears of good time The only things left if any are it could use stronger percussion like smashing (but only on important notes) sounds/drums, and occasional audience cheering sounds like in a stadium, and that will be perfect. Imagine in Sword/Shield or Scarlet/Violet (btw I named my Pokemon Blue character Scarlet, will be a girl Scarlett in Scarlet), a final DLC is released and Oak can be challenged at any time after postgame to test your mastery across 8 gens (considering virtual console transfers and gen 3 upwards), and his team are like lv 90s, or even at 100! The best Pokemon team that aren't legendaries (but maybe have a mythical), and he also doesn't let you use a legendary or more than 1 starter that isn't pikachu/raichu/eevee/lutions). Now that's epic for ya. I think his reward for you surviving his team will be the most fancy diploma ever that is also printable, and an item like Choice Band/Specs but boosts both Attack and Special and doesn't lock moves, as well as unlocking all hidden costumes to buy in malls as well as a True champion outfit.

I am glad you liked this ORAS styled track and I agree it that it could have used more percs but I couldn't really bother anymore as I was quite stuck on this project for a while and I didn't want to ruin the entire Zinnia vibe haha

Gen 7 seems to use very similar sound fonts as gen 6 - if not, the EXACT same ones. Especially the synth usage. In fact, gen 8 & 9 use sound fonts like those used here.
