just watched on Netflix series'' Age of Samurai'' from the Sengoku period. In my opinion, these are the most fierce warriors in human history. much appreciated the video to see the medieval castle and other weapons.

Nobunaga was one of the most influential Japanese in modern history. The shape, function and aesthetics of katanas is magnificent. I regret not doing more travelling in my life.

I always prefer to see broken sword then the not broken ones. This is because I can learn so much from looking at where it chipped so I can imagine how the battle was like.

When i saw that Castle in the distance i legit thought it would be much larger. I mean its still pretty sizeable and on a mountain as an addes defensible bounus ... but ... yeah.

Be Honest Ryky, when you saw the chipped swords did you wonder if you could fix them with "the brick".

I'd like to point out there is literally no evidence of Odas' death. Not 1 bone. Yet supposedly people who were beside him in death were found to be dead.. Nobunaga did not die that morning.

it would have been nice if you read the names of the sword makers above the swords. Even if you didn't pronounce it right other people that are more educated with Sword smith kanji could take it from there figuring out the sword maker. Thanks for sharing this adventure though. I greatly appreciate you airing this with us.

My apologies Ryky.. this comment has nothing to do with this video. You tube doesn't have messaging options. But I saw that you briefly was featured on grill addicts knives advertisement. It doesn't provide a manufacturer name. Just need to know if you already have used those knives and if so do you recommend the purchase?

It was funny to hear you going people gasping for breath walking up the steps. Try actually climbing the mountain itself you have to go over some huge rocks.
