What about your poison gas and flamethrowers, do those not bring suffering? And what about the MG-42 “Hitler’s Buzzsaw” from WW2 that was built to saw people in half? It doesn’t make sense why they said that, I think they’re just saying that because it’s so effective and it was easier to clear trenches faster than using a Bolt-Action rifle and it clearly didn’t work because used it again in WW2
