Great video! I wanted comment on the foregrip attachment post patch. Pre patch the foregrip only decreased the guns side to side recoil only affecting the gun in a positive away. Post patch the foregrip still decreases the side to side recoil at the expense of increasing the overall bullet spread, in some cases up to 50%! Check out a video from the people at LevelCapGaming which breaks down the foregrip gun by gun.

Ok, burst fire forces you to fire in burst, (no shit). But the benefit of burst fire is it's consistency which means that you can get into a perfect rhythm with burst fire weapons. when you burst in fully automatic you fire 3 shots then 4 then 2 then 5 then 6 giving yourself no rhythm which, when shooting a gun at ranged targets, is better then stats. it should be noted that some weapons are better then others due to stats but only if you find the weapons rhythm.

Just as a reference the G3A3 is not considered an assault rifle by the millitary community its a battle rifle along the the FN FAL and M14 due to the use of 7.72 mm rounds giving it more range and impact damage. This is why the bullet damge for it is higher than the others and why it is god like at range. Also for those wondering what the G stands for its Gewehr which is german for rifle :)

Badger, the an-94. It shoots at 1200rpm with burst fire as you said, and all the other things you said, but. It shoots 2 bullets at a time, which you also said. But where the first bullet hits, the second bullet hits to. One bullets makes 25 damage maximum, which means if two bullets hits the head in close range, that would be one shot, kill or one burst. Which means if you get good at hitting the head this would be beeeeaast.For those who didn't understand. 2.0x multiplier in the head, 50x2=100

6:40 actually it does make sense. In real life a larger magazine doesn't always mean slower reloads and reload speed is different from soldier to soldier. But the main reason the Famas is so slow at reloading is because its a bullpup. Bullpups must be loaded near the buttstock so you have to rotate the entire gun just to reload it while an RPK can be pointed in the same direction when changing mags because the mag goes in front of the trigger.

Reloading twice is justifiable in 2 situations. 1) You have downtime. 2) You are preparing to breach, defend, etc. #1 Is sort of a prerequisite for #2 but I personally believe it can be important in #2.

26:00 In actuality, rate of fire isn't just how many bullets you can fire, but how fast. For example, you can fire full auto, but if you burst fire that's 3 bullets coming out at one time/second, so statistically, if you fire burst weapons fast enough, you'll have a higher rate of fire.

I have only played the singleplayer for BF3. But I still love watching battlefield 3 videos. I hope someday i will be able to play it online. A whole country without a good enough internet connection for online gaming. :( Hopefully someday in the future maybe I will start with BF4 :) But that is not the point. M16A4 is my gun of choice. People always ask why I use the gun but I like burst fire and I can usually get a 5k/d ratio if not higher with this gun. I have tried all the weapons and although some seem better on paper this is the gun that I am the most comfortable with and do the best with. If you want to be good you need to not look at stats and find the gun that you feel good using. You will always do better with a gun that you like than with a gun that you use cuz you think is good.

lol yes the shorter barrel does make it more tactical but in real life there is a huge advantage. The M16 uses a direct gase impingement system which shoots the gas into the action which blows back your action reloading the bullets in the chamber. But this also adds more jamming problems because the gas dirties up your rifle faster. The M416 uses a gas piston action (same as AK-47) making it more reliable because the gas gets shot into a piston which blows back ur action. Preventing more jamming

Both do the same damage 25 MAX - 18.4 MIN. M16A3 has a slightly higher rate of fire. The recoil patterns are very similar, they both move up and to the left. They are both very good weapons but statistically the M16A3 is slightly better because of the higher RoF and quicker reload time. You can do well with any weapon in BF3 once you figure out how to use it properly. Use what your comfortable with.

The AN-94 is special in that it can shoot 2 shots so fast after each other that they will hit the same spot, this is what gives it potential to shoot 1200 rounds per minute, but few (if any) people can burst fire so fast.

When you spend a full mag in a weapon the follower inside the mag ( the bit that sits on the spring and pushes rounds up) has a nub that will lock the bolt back. If you eject the mag with a round in it then the bolt stays forward with a round in the chamber. So with an empty mag the bolt will be locked back then when you insert a new mag you have to release the bolt and chamber a round( the taping on the side of the gun) .I wouldn't say reloading is peculiar I would say accurate.

it was developed as an assault rifle by France and is now the general issue assault rifle of the French military. It was not intended to be a close quarter weapon, but a fully capable combat weapon. It's pretty much the French equivalent of the M16 (in its role, not its design)

depends on what you like, I prefer the more controlled feel of the AN-94 over the G3. Switching to full auto for emergency close range makes up for it. Its more personal preference. I feel the AN-94 is superior at longer ranges, the G3 at closer

Some of the guns with foregrip are not held right. When you have foregrip equiped you hold it with a firm grip. By wrapping the hand around the grip. Gives the user more control and motion and stops the arm being extended to hold near the barrel of the gun. But there re all different styles of holding the grip. Preference of the soldier.

You have too get the G3 by playing the coop missions. Or you can just buy all the coop weapons from the BF3 store. But i suggest doing the missions because they have different missions that can help with your gameplay.

The m416 edges out at range, while the m16a3 is better close up. The m16 has higher ROF and less overall recall which make it better for up close, but m416 has more overall but less initial and a lower ROF which make it better at longer ranges.

Actually i do and I go to the gun range frequently. If you are running around with a machine gun then you should be able to lift a 200 round drum and reload quickly. Plus weight is obviously not a concern in bf3 because the game allows you to spin around and immediately aim and hop fences with a 100+ pound gun.

Strictly speaking, AN94 does NOT do 600 rpm, as the first two rounds are ALWAYS fired at 1200 rpm. If its set to auto, it will then continue at 600 rpm for the other 29 bullets.

I'd disagree that a K/D less than 1 automatically means that you did more harm than good, because on multiple occasions I have (while running assault) revived 20-30 people throughout the course of the match, and I think my record for bad K/D was 10-17 or something like that. If you revive more people than you die, you can create a positive influence in your team. Same with taking out tanks/helis, you can create an opportunity for your team to succeed while sacrificing yourself.

Not a criticism here, more just my 2 cents. A potential reason that the FAMAS (most other bullpup rifles too) has such a long reload time is due to the magazine placement. Lots of AR pattern weapons have faster release mechanisms. The RPK's AK pattern release is also faster than a bullpup.

You can always decline a revive. It's better to revive a person than to second guess it for the off chance that they wanted to die. Personally, even if I want to change my guns/attachments/class, I am still grateful for a revive because it gives me another chance to make a positive influence. If a person wants to die so they can change their loadout, they should go as far behind enemy lines as they can so they can do max damage to the enemy while having a low chance of being revived.

I might add some things. f2000 should be more used as CCQ hip shooting gun,it has lowest spread when aiming from the hip,and worse when aiming from the sight(in assault gun category) G3A3 its the opposide, best from medium/long ranges,dont even bother shooting it from the hip coz its just horrible, unless someone is standing next 2 you;p An94 most ppl wont get 1200 rpm from this gun,half of them will experience jamming since they will tap the mouse 2fast,so your timing must be damn perfect

after the patch, everyone has the flares unlocked, no matter what level; but if you really wanna know, there are youtube videos about how to fly a jet, how to shoot down enemy tanks and other targets with a jet, and how to win dogfights. flying a jet isn't easy, though, i can tell you that much.

i think that reload times should all be the same across classes, with the exception of real world functions, like bullpups for example. i think itd be better if they put in a gears of war mechanic, or have it raise as you get more proficient with each weapon.

A negative K/D can be very damaging to your team. If your dying alot your going to be spending less time on the battlefield helping your team and more time sitting in the spawn menus waiting to respawn. K/D isnt the main focus on bf3 its Score per minute is but In the process of playing the objective you have to killl enemies and stay alive to defend the objective and kill enemies.

the G3A3 fires 7.62 and not 5.56 its technically a DMR, i like Bipod, heavy barrel and huntingscope (single fire) and use it as a sniper on my Assault class like an SKS. quite effective if you play like a sniper in the back and not frontline.

And you can still make a negative impact for your team by going for score per minute if it means you are dying a lot (and thereby losing respawn points in rush/conquest or getting the enemy closer to winning in tdms)

Hey man ! You didn't mentioned that AN-94 can fire 2 rounds in extreme successions .Complex firing mechanism allows firing 2 rounds before weapons kicks back. That way the rounds hit the same spot. That makes this gun best in burst mode.
