So sad in BF4 the G3A3 didn't appear but I miss the gun though and for me its a reliable gun ever I kill 352 enemies with this gun in BF3. Rest in peace G3A3 :-)

Thanks for putting up a review of the gun so fast ;-). Hopefully more people will try it out now. It's not the best gun for beginners but for everyone with experience, some aiming skills and fire discipline the G3 ROCKS. This gun is a flexible beast if used correctly. With Bipod and Heavy barrel you can easily turn it into a M60 with small mag capacity to hold choke points or even a stable fast firing sniper rifle to give your team some long range support if needed. You gotta love it ^^.

Love this gun, dropped 33 kills my 1st match with it, even though the rate of fire is slow, it worked out in close quarters combat because of the high damage output. Overall, nice review SHuSTYBANG, I always come to you all when I unlock new weapons to see what you think and your recommended attachments.

Love the G3A3! I used the G3 extensively in BF:BC2, and loved it there, so I couldn't wait to unlock it when I picked up BF3. It's laser accurate at long ranges, and in hardcore mode you can pick of snipers at any range. This gun is by FAR my fav.

On those days when I don't actually feel like running my flagship PDW-R w/ Extended Mags, I pull this baby out with a Heavy Barrel. With the excellent ranged accuracy, tameable recoil, (mostly emphasizes the first shot, less kick afterwards) and lovely firepower, it is an assault rifle that is not only effective, but can be very versatile once you learn to use it and compensate for its few flaws. I often refer to it as a "Gentleman's Rifle."

After running this thing for about 4 service stars with heavy barrel, I put a flash suppressor on it and it's a laser beam. There is no recoil whatsoever, and the accuracy is still amazing.

I personally use the G3A3 as a DMR. I'll usually attach the ACOG scope, Bipod, and Heavy Barrel, but occasionally use a laser sight in case I get caught up in a close range encounter. I'll find a good spot that serves as a choke point such as the escalators on Operation Metro, or the alley on Grand Bazarr, then just lay down some fire from medium to long range.

The G3A3 is my favourite weapon because of its high damage and its accuracy. I can easily fight snipers or targets in long distances but because of the high damage, I can also kill enemys in short distances easily. Right now i have 16 service stars with it. And my setup is: Cobra / PK-A Underslung Flash Suppressor (or Heavy Barrel for really long distances) Thanks for this great review. :)

G3A3 is my go to weapon for me. Its stopping power is the edge I need to stand a chance in my engagements. It's power is only amplified in hardcore where it has the chance for a one hit kill with a headshot at close range.

G3 is a boss! I would give 5*. I go with the flash suppressor to reduce the upward recoil, and the undersling with the mass for any close engagements.

If you wondering why it has a small magazine, it is because it fires large 7.62mm rounds, dealing high damage, or, if you're into guns, stopping power.

The G3A3 is the gun I thank most for improving my fire discipline, because with a smaller mag but bigger damage, I'm more judgmental on when I shoot and how I shoot, especially in cover and behind corners. 90% of guys come running around blindly, and when I catch them it's 3 rounds and they're DOWN. the low ROF makes being accurate easy, and you have to be to make the most of the gun. I personally love using it.

I think this gun is the best at any range. You can pick people off from long rang if you equipped with the rifle scope and bi-pod or for close quarters, slap it with the M26 and suppressor and you got one hell of a weapon. Best two combo for this gun.

Snoov you're probably not having a problem with the vertical recoil because the first short multiplier for this gun is much, much lower than most other guns. 1.4 for the G3A3 versus 2.0, 2.5, or even 3 for many other assault rifles. This gun is great for burst firing

This is the standard rifle in Hellenic infantry, so trust me on this: the real one has a LOT of recoil and yes, it does pull up (almost on par with an Ak-47).

I get a lot of kills with this is close-quarters. It sometimes even beats the AEK, MTAR-21, MP7, and many other weapons with a high rate of fire. I love this weapon.

you should try the 6x it might take some time to get used to but it's really fun and once you get used to it you can use it in close quarters pretty easy

This weapon is a rather good gun. So far I find that just an ACOG and the rail is all I need. I do have a tendency to attach the MASS to it, just to bolster my close range efficiency. I give the G3A3 a 4 out of 5 as well.

This gun is beast. Its my best weapon and compliments players who prefer the "make every bullet count" play style. Seriously, the biggest hurdle for new users is getting used to the 20 round clip.

This gun is fucking beast, heavy barrel and holo sight. Full auto up close, two round burst at medium-long range. I often find me out sniping snipers at extremely long ranges with this weapon.

Oh cool well thx then because I have just unlocked the G3A3 and these tips really helped! It was difficult at the start but I have unlocked more things like the heavy barrel and the bipod which makes it easier. I hope to turn it into a sniper rifle of a sort because I kind of suck at using other sniper rifles lol.

This is my #1, go to assault weapon (6K kills, 22.3 accuracy). It works remarkably well with the flash suppressor, since it reduces vertical recoil, and the horizontal recoil is miniscule. Best attachment for those who have trouble staying on target. And since it's the most accurate gun in the class, the flash suppressor doesn't hinder the weapons accuracy. Well balanced gun, IMO. The slow ROF, mag size, and poor hip fire accuracy make it a very well balanced weapon, even with it's high damage.

that was a glitch where the dart was a one shot kill it worked on all assault rifles but worked best on the g3. but the dart can still be equipped for normal power but getting kills with the mass

I would have to give this a 4 out of 5 as well. I usually prefer a little higher fire rate, but this things power makes it worth it. She's a monster and fits my play still perfectly. This is one of those weapons that only has a small cult following to it, but I think more people should use it.

i use this weapon with an acog, foregrip and heavy barrel on semi automatic mode. it is a really good combat rifle and i have a pretty good aim compared to most other console players so i can deal out a lot of headshots on medium to long ranges. suprisingly i still am able to win most cqb fights even with an acog and semi auto mode.

Well the G3A3 can take any attachment besides the m203 grenade launcher but if your asking for what attachments to use i would suggest a sight your comfortable with for me its the american red dot sight with a heavy barrel and no other attachments (I love this setup on the G3A3 iv'e gotten head shots +150m if your wondering how accurate this setup is and for CQB)

To me its great but i would rather use an American red dot sight because its easier to see enemy targets at longer ranges than the Holographic sight but it does have that slightly higher zoom (which for some reason helps me in CQB more than in CQB) so it comes down more to whats your play style if you like to run and gun i would suggest the Holographic sight if you want to take those long range shots i would suggest the American red dot sight

4 outta 5 for me as well. I Love the gun but the 21 round clip is a little limiting for me i guess because my aim is below average.. Fakethriller is right about the m26 mass being great for close range scenarios. How ever i have had no problem firing this from the hip at close range.

It has almost no side to side recoil. Use the heavy barrel and shoot 2/3 round bursts. It's a sweet battle rifle.

Bipod, heavy barrel and pk 3.4 sight. Best sniping/dmr setup. Never use foregrip because it hinders its perfect ads accuracy plus the rifle doesn't has side to side recoil.

I normally don't like roller lock guns like the HK91 design, but I'd really like the pick up a PTR91 GI (The American made clone of this rifle) for a battle rifle. $1-$3 for a good magazine is a pretty good reason to check them out too lol. I still think the Para FALs are my favorite of the classic battle rifles, but the 91 design is pretty cool.

Chris has the hands down ideal set up. I add the heavy barrel though and not flash suppressor like alot of people in the comments. This guns big downfall apart from its low fire rate is it doesn't have the best bullet velocity so you will want the extra speed the heavy barrel gives and it makes it even more accurate. The flash suppressor may reduce that crazy recoil but ruins its accuracy. Just man Up put it in semi auto at longer range.

I know this is kind of a stretch to ask for, but do you think you could also fit the recoil patterns into your info screen? That's the one objective thing you leave out that's hard to determine from just watching the video. It's not that hard, either. Just go to the info page and take a screenshot of the recoil pattern, throw it up on photoshop/MS paint, section of the pattern and throw it up onto your video.

My favourite weapon in BC2, continues to be my fav in BF3. The only drawback is the small magazine size, been killed quite a few times during reload. The trick is to make sure you always reload before running out of bullets, and keep your finger on the pistol button. 4/5 from me.

I notice you guys rarely use the Russian Holo-Sight on any gun. When I first tried it, I was a bit uncomfortable with it because it felt like a rifle scope. But over time, I was able to use it well (after finding it's identical in stats to the American Holo-Sight) and found it to be very fun to use (especially for longer ranges). What I would like to know is the reason you don't use it. Just curious!

g3's high damage is due to it shooting the largest caliber among all assault rifles (7.62x51, a round some sniper rifles and LMG's shoot) in the game

G3a3 is my favorite, has so much power and the aim is spot on. I really hope they dont nerf it, that would suck. I think that gun is fair due to the low ROF compaird to the other assault guns, with their high ROF and lower damage

My favorite weapon!! A 5 out of 5. I use the m315 sight along with a underslung rail and the heavy barrel for the bottom i use the m26 mass. This weapon is more medium to long range, then if i need to go close quarter switch to the m26 mass or the 93R

been using this gun for the past couple days, and i never would of seen my self using this gun but im loving it, only downside for me is (CQB), almost always lose every gunfight but thats mostly because i got horrible internet, but i average 20 kills and less than 8 deaths each tdm match so i think im doing pretty decent with it, 11 service stars too

Actual ontopic comment: I love the G3 (and battle rifles in general). With the flash suppressor taming the recoil i've found it to be great fun to use. You get the downsides of terrible hipfire, a small mag, and high recoil, but you've got to work to its strengths - just needs careful aim, and the accuracy and damage take care of the rest. It does alright at CQB if you *need* to, as long as you don't come face to face with an M16 or AEK. But those guys won't be able to get you at range anyway :]

I had a lot of fun with the G3 on my Xbox account, sadly I've been unable to unlock it for PC because Co-Op doesn't work for me. Apparently I've been having a pretty common problem that's been in the game since launch that STILL hasn't been fixed.

I would give the G3A3 a 3/5 stars but that rating does have a little bias because i am a close range guy. I do often spray in close quarters and this is definately where this gun falls short. Caspian border is a great map use this one but even then I cant seem to use it any good

also i would give this a gun a 4 out of 5 stars but not for the same reasons the only faults i could find were the long time to get the gun and when facing a crowd i was at a disadvantage with only 20 rounds however i could kill anybody from out performing snipers at long range and any other gun at close quarters and i normally role with a red dot sight and a heavy barrel with makes it dead accurate and the sight is just my preferance

I agree with you but G3 is a different style of weapon from the PDR. I personally like both weapons although I never go close quarters with a G3 and refrain from going on long range engagements with the PDR. As for the PDR, I completely agree with you, my personal favorite PDW in the game :)

This Gewehr is one of my favorites. I like it with a bipod, HBar, and a six-power scope. With a trained rifleman at the trigger, the G3 can humorously outcompete many sniper units and machinegunners. Plus, it kills faster than the popular AR-15 rifles at close range. This one goes to eleven.

Man I remember what happened to me last December, I got up to 400k coop points and unlocked the G3A3 and then had fun using it. Only to have the weapon nerfed to shit and coop point requirements reduced the VERY next day. I was quite upset at the sudden change lol :(

Hey guys, could you maybe do reviews on these three guns that I want to try out. I want to know if there any good or have something that sets them apart, they are the MG36, QBZ-95B, and the QBU-88. I hardly see these guns on the battlefield and I want to know if they're like the KH-2002 and end up just being good but underused. Please review them and thanks in advance.

Foregrip only reduces horizontal recoil. and increases bullet spread. So a flash suppressor would reduce vertical recoil. Its wierd but thats just how battlefield works
