Well,the basic reason nobody plays like that,is because everybody has infinite parachutes,that can also open at a 5 meter jump... So nobody walking,everybody flying in this damn game.

This is why this game needs a community of more people willing to communicate, and befriend good players met online. I have met some local players while playing and we use programs such as TS/mumble to communicate. Teamwork these days can only be derived from such method.

This is why Battlefield multiplayer is better than CoD multiplayer. When Squads actually Cooperate, shit gets done! Me and my friends actually work like this, we even talk like soldiers. Me: (at enemy jet) 'We got a bird in the air, I repeat, we got an enemy bird!' Jack: 'Copy. Verify location' Me: 'Er, South by southwest.' Jack: 'Roger, I see it. Pulling up rockets. Engaging.' Is it me or are the lighting effects on the character models are way more realistic than BF4's current state? In the Alpha the soldiers beared resemblence to their BF3 counterparts which made camo a viable, useful aspect of a soldier. While in the current state the soldiers are unrealistically dark as well as lightened thus rendering camo as useless. DICE should change the lighting on soldiers in the next patch.

I always felt that the alpha/beta played and looked better than the full release. Since the weapons were limited, the gameplay was much more balanced and fun. Yeah, limitations can make a game fun! Also I think the graphics got a downgrade for optimization and stability.

It has improved ALOT since then. We played the early alpha build so pretty much everything was unstable. Jumping trough parachutes made the screen shaky, there was a chance of you dying when touching the ground even though you had parachute, you drowned instantly when jumping into water, the land mines were too visible, the controls were really messed up, there was a chance of you dcing in loading screen.. You get the point, it was a really early version and has been improved a lot since then.

I think we all obviously realized that this is all staged and practiced over and over. Don't get me wrong this looked awesome at first look. But doing a little bit of digging and you find out it's all fake. Yes some clans and friends out there work as a team and do amazing but nothing like this. The trailer/demo was made in a campaign feel. Didn't you notice none of the squad members died? That the squad leader always "happened" to capture every single epic moments? Staged.
