A lot of great character moments in this episode! And come on…double the Gaius??? Yes please!!! 😂 And the “looks like you got the house” part gets me every time! 😢

Roslin's change in attitude is remarkable but I think fits her character. Back then she was full of hope, treating her cancer with wacky hallucinogenic drugs, willing to go with visions. Now she's beaten down, she's on regular chemo, suddenly she's a lot more desperate. ALSO, she's always been kind of a hypocrite xD

It's so good being back on the Battlestar with you. All the episodes are jam packed from here, and there's always so much to talk about. Something I enjoyed was the methods employed by the Cylon factions, one side was about 'dumbing down' the raiders, the other was about *informing* the centurions and allowing them to make their own decisions. Bringing the centurions in line with all the other humanoids, with having to decide their own moral quandries, The only other thing I want to mention about this one, is that Laura calls Bill out on his fear of losing Kara again. Instead of admitting that and not allowing it to direct his choice, he instead admits it, and decides to double down. "Glad to see you still care." Thank you as always Chris.

i see it like this starbuck trusted roslin visions to get the arrow, now starbuck is asking rosling to believe her visions so i feel she has to do it

There is no way in hell I would send the fleet where she asks after we saw her blow up and then return 2 months later. There is no other thing for them to believe - she's a Cylon. I do think Adama did the right thing send her off on another ship. It's a big leap to want to risk everyone.

Any guesses as to the final Cylon? I actually managed to guess it when the series was coming out, and I was kinda proud of myself. Is it Starbuck or someone else? Any thoughts?

Love your reactions. BSG was a great series, and I'm looking forward to see how you react to what comes next. BTW, If you haven't seen it yet, I couldn't recommend more that you start watching Babylon 5 as a lot of comparisons were made between the shows overtime, and also because it's one of the best shows ever made in my opinion. Magnificent day and best of wishes.

Devil's advocate here, I wouldn't believe Kara either. In Roslin's case, as nuts as it was, she had the human race's entire history to back her religious argument up, scrolls, etc.The Galactica itself was a museum packed with enough concrete evidence that there may be an Earth to prove her intuition right. Also, not a lot of people knew of her drug induced hallucinations so as far as they knew, aside from the uber religious folk, the last surviving cabinet memer was probably in on some long kept goverment secret. Billy was hesitant to join her then because he knew of the drugs and their side-effects. With Kara people saw her ship explode and next thing you know she comes back in a brand spanking new one that looks like it just rolled right off an assembly line. Who do we know that has an assembly line of not just ships but also of lookalike humanoid creatures? Also we ourselves never saw her on Earth. Those pictures and coordinates can very well be a trap to lure the fleet to the Cylons. And what happened last time we trusted someone and ignored red flags? That someone tried to kill the fleet's head honcho. Kara holding the president at gun point would be all I need not to listen to her anymore. Having said all that, Dean Stockwell is super in this, ain't he?

I wont hold back, with only a handful of exceptions, this season is awful, not the least of which is Kara being portrayed so out of character its borderline character assassination.Even Sackhoff admited she hated Starbuck shooting the final season.
@lindsiria8 ай бұрын
I don't think the season is awful, it's just... too quick. Many plotlines that should have lasted half a season, only last a few episodes. Therefore, the character development does seem lacking and sporatic. My biggest disappointments are the 7 cylons (boomer and caprica). They aren't utlized well at all.
@CaptainEnglehorn8 ай бұрын
@@lindsiriato each their own. With Kara being my favorite character, I might have been more favorable to this season if she had just stayed dead. How she reacted in this season was not at all like the character they spent 3 to 4 years building. They threw all character development out the window and not for the better. There is good in this season. The acting is top notch all around, oath and blood on the scales is one of the best two parters BSG has done, and some bits in the finale hit just right. But Starbuck not acting like Starbuck just kept taking me out of it.
@jennym22768 ай бұрын
@@CaptainEnglehorn But it is understandable that she does not act like Starbuck. She is different.
@CaptainEnglehorn8 ай бұрын
are you saying starbuck is different because shes changed as a person, or are you saying this woman isnt Starbuck?
@DrKartoffelsalat5 ай бұрын
@@CaptainEnglehorn Since he finished by now... yes. This is not Starbuck... , , , , SPOILERS , , , , , This is an "angel" (aka Messenger, similar to Head-Baltar and Head-Six, but physically manifested) with the memories and in the image of Starbuck. You might not like this super-religious angle the show takes on, that's fine. But if you accept what has been laid out, it does make a whole lot more sense. The fact this is NOT Starbuck should've been clear the second she finds the body, downed Viper and dogtags of Starbuck.
