Imagine that your mom had a boyfriend that was really cool back in the day but she recorded everything. Battletoads was one of the funnest 2 player games NES had. It was extremely hard, though, and definitely frustrating at times. I can't think of another game that was so consistently frustrating yet that I absolutely love. They straddled a fine line there.

Normal Platforming (If you know what i mean on this) Turbo Tunnel is Harder Clinger Winger is Faster Bosses Have Default HP. Second Player has to press start to join in. Intruder Excluder is Harder Tera Tubes is Harder 3 Continues If You Pause, There is a Beat JP Version Start with 5 lives Easier Platforming, game is easier than the US Version. All levels mentioned on the US Version are easier. Bosses have nerfed HP. You get the option to select 1 or 2 players before the game is started. 5 Continues Clinger Winger is Slower Turbo Tunnel's hazards are altered and easier to avoid, way easier actually. Especially considering how hard this game is. Truth is a beat em' up shouldn't be this hard. This genre should be all about fun, not difficulty that makes you want to head butt your TV.

Sadly, even playing like 2 or 3 hours per day of this as a kid, I could never get past Level 9 or 10. Really fucking hard shit (although nowadays I would try to play more strategically - you don't really do that when you're 8).
