Amazing stuff , I pitched into my 40s using traditional training , and I never fullfil my potential due to injury's in my shoulders and knees , because of incorrect lifting Training and trowing routines ,plus the amount of innings and pitches without checking, this routines combines several Tecnics together , throwing plus loading and under loading ,plus agility drills using the whole body ,and everything looks very natural without affecting the mechanical sequence, I'm starting to introduce some of this routines in my 14 year old son pitching program.

I feel like most who take pitching seriously know the positions they need to get into to be a high velo pitcher, but dont know how to get there and the importance of getting into them properly with proper sequencing. a video explaining that/breaking down viewer mechanics would be very informational and helpful!

4:10 I can imagine all of the triple extension comments already. Before y’all comment the extension was just a effect of the hips rotating which pulls the leg into extension just like the lead leg block. It’s all about proper hip rotation

Hey Trevor, love what you’re doing; I have a question for you. I’m currently in college and we are doing our velo training right now, and my 5oz flat ground is currently 87.9. Trevor that was a great training video especially for those young pitchers who need more visual she's than what you see in other videos. Most young athletes are visual learners and you are perfectly on point. Trevor where are your other "training videos" like your band routine, game day routine, weight training or exercises to do or avoid etc? I don't see them on this channel is there another channel you have? I have seen a few over last year that other people on here will show. Thank you in advance and I look forward to another great season in your career.

This is just great. You haven’t talked sequencing like this I think since the long-form Passan interview. Interesting that the word “drift” was not used but rather “drop”. Didn’t an earlier video reference drifting out of leg lift? Still perplexed about RPE usage given some its’ peer-reviewed difficulties. But I don’t have many years of personal data.

Thank you so much for this video. Do you believe this routine applies to position players as well or is this tailored for pitchers? As a catcher, the "compactness" of the throw is important vs what seems to be an "elongation" focus of the routine.
@yungporkchop45422 жыл бұрын
For catchers it’s idea with the hip separation drills but done from a shorter arm slot. Plyo balls help to find the feel for arm slot and mechanics so doing the same drills from a shorter slot would be the focus as a catcher.

Anythoughts on reverse throwing the same movement as throwing to create balance and a strong break after throwing hard... Both sides creating more balanced like the karate kid and the drum with beads... Equal push pull is stronger then one side of body... Like the guy from 300 who couldn't pick up the shield
