Hey there Chris. Glad you got the generator wheel inflated. I had that happen a few times. The weight of the generator makes the air leak fast. I see one or two folks mentioned it and I too would construct a small shelter to keep the generator out of the elements. You cleaned the generator up nicely. Have a fine week and stay warm. Full-watch. 👍🏽🙂 3/28/22

Always good to have the generator serviced up & ready to go. Keep up the good work there.

Thank you Ron! Definitely need to keep it ready to go because you never know when the power may go out 🙂

A GC 30 is a monster. My version with the same trailer and tires is a Baumalight 7.5 kw. I power it with a 1980 Bolens G174, running the pto in second gear, which allows it to hit 60 hz and send up to 30 amps to the generator panel in the house at a relatively leisurely engine speed.. The 21 hp Kubota uses more than twice the fuel because it has to run at 2500 to do the same job.

Hahaha that's amazing I thought I was the only person who used grease and ratchet straps to blow up wicked flat tires. Farm fixes are the best 🤣🤣

I would love to have one of them! We don't lose power often enough to justify the expense, but it would be nice. Nice work getting it back in order! Looks great Chris!

We are definitely greatfull to have one. Don't use it too often, but it's great to have around- especially since it's mobile and we can use it about anywhere. Thanks!! 🙂

Another good job Mr Chris, I bet that generator is a life saver for sure!! Hopefully you didn't need it! Those little tires can really be tuff to get to seal!! God it worked out, hope we get to see the skid steer project as well!! Thank you for bringing us along!! 😁👍

It sure is handy to have, especially when the power goes out during the winter. I hate those little tires 🤣 Thank you sir!! 🙂

Nice gennie Chris, for some reason your uploads come not up on my notifications, lucky I see it on my sub list and obviously the bell is on all the time. I have to remember to watch your channel now and then until this problem rectify itself

You should build a little decorative shelter next to the house for the generator.

I like that idea. These are too expensive to let set out in the weather for long periods of time. Thanks Jeff!!

I’d sure love one of those, I have a small Honda. Yours would be a big upgrade. Sure is handy when you need it. Yeah that ratchet strap method works good.

We are looking for one of these units. I think it would work fantastically on the 1973 Unimog pto 550/1000 rpm.

Hello from the Netherlands . instead of a tarp build a real loeking dog house for it then it will no longer stand in all kinds of weather and it will still look good even standing next to your house. and the pto can go through a real dog door. tractor in front of the dog house , open the dog door with the pto through it and turn . afterwards pto back through the door, close the door neatly so that no vermin will live in the dog house. tractor away and it looks good and normal again. this is how we solved it here in the Netherlands with a buddy of mine with the generator, they are very unusual here in the Netherlands and very sensitive to theft and now it looks like the doghouse of "gene" (is on the name plate hihi)

"Murphy's tire and tube mounting compound" is what you want. I have used it many times, it works great.
@travcon86 күн бұрын
He might just have to tube that tire. They don't hold much pressure, so they break the bead easily.

Just curious. How many horsepower recommended ? Thanks Chris.
@dehavenfamilyfarm2 жыл бұрын
I believe it requires around 55hp or so. I always end up putting 100+ hp on it 🤣

Handy they are I would like to find one for me I wound think they be more reliable than a gas power one due to the fact they don’t get used a lot

30 kw. That should keep the whole place going as normal. ❤
