Thank you all for joining me on this adventure!! As a disclaimer I can’t stress enough the importance of making sure you have good ventilation while using a propane heater. Please have multiple ways of detecting CO. The Mr. Heater has a low oxygen sensor built in but having a second detection source is a must. NEVER run your heater while you are asleep. In this video I only used the heater while awake and with plenty of ventilation. Please and I stress, please do your research before ever considering using a propane heater in a tent, and make sure the heater is designed for indoor use, as the Mr. Heater is. If in doubt, leave it out 👍 safety first everyone!

Hey Baum outdoors I’ll give you an awesome tip for starting fires!! Take some cotton balls and dip in some wax kinda lightly and then put them in a small container to store them in to take with you!! Another really good one is take some twin, like balling twin and not the the plastic coating stuff take the roll that you can get at Walmart and don’t unwind it but if there is paper on it take the paper off it!! Take a belt sander and run the twin on the belt sander being very careful using the belt sander!! The belt sander will make it even finer and then take all the finer pieces and put them into small balls as big as you think you will need!! These two things will definitely light quickly with one of those stickers super easy to do and super easy to light!! After trying it the first time will give you an idea on about how big of balls you will need to make for your next fire starting!! Or you can just shred a bunch and put into a zip lock bag so water won’t be able to get it wet!!! Definitely give these two a try and if you do them Wright I promise you that you will love it and will be making a bunch for your next trips out camping!!! I used to do a bunch of winter camping years ago back when I was in boy scouts and loved it!! I haven’t went for years but I am definitely wanting to be able to get out and do some here in the next year or so!! I am just looking for a good hot tent that I can put a wood stove in and big enough to put a bigger cot into for at least one person maybe two people and a dog!! Of course my dog has to go every where with me for sure!! I don’t need a real tall tent because I’m not real tall!! 4’11” to be exact!! I just don’t want to have issues putting like the stove pipe threw the outside of the tent!! I would definitely like one that has a floor to keep animals out of the tent !! I can always put a fire proof drop cloth down under the stove so that it won’t burn the floor!! If you have any good suggestions on what tent would be best and under a thousand dollars would definitely be awesome!! Just a good tent that helps hold heat in and that will last for years as long as taken care of!! Thanks in advance for any ideas!!!

Great video. Really enjoy your honesty. Coiple of observations if I may. The sleeping bag could just have been flipped around so your head was higher than your feet. The fat wood would have probably worked if you used your knife to scrape the fatwood and produce some fluffy hair like shavings. That ignites easier. The charcoal on the steak is good for stomach settling. Burrito looked good too! Loved the video. We all learn together. I've been there. I so enjoy your videos. What inspired you to start adventure videos?
@BaumOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Very true! I buy what I can afford and try to get the best for my money! My love of the outdoors and love of creating videos inspired me to combine the two! I have watched a lot of other youtube channels and they also encouraged me to try it. Appreciate you watching 😊

@@BaumOutdoors Your videos have made me want to start filming to share with family and friends. I guess I'll need some battery chargers and to up my culinary camping skills. 😂😂

Exactly what Jason said… don’t ever apologize for using budget stuff. It gets the job done and you’re have a blast. That’s all that matters

Very good Kenny, I've never camped in the snow, it must be a fantastic experience. I'm getting ready for my next adventure, I'm going to spend a week in the Pantanal, learning from your videos, I'm much simpler, I'm just going with my tent and food.

Sounds like you are going to have a great time! Camping in the snow is a lot of fun but can get cold lol

@@BaumOutdoors Thanks Kenny, I hope I have fun like you, only those who go camping know how pleasant it is. Cold rain and sun are part of it, I love nature, any passion is fun for me lol
