Prof. Dan Lusthaus, Harvard professor, specializes in Yogacara Buddhism. He is the author of the influential book "Buddhist Phenomenology: A Philiosophical Investigation of Yogacara Buddhism and the Ch'eng Wei-shi Lun". Yogacara, a key component of Mahayana, emphasizes analysis and development of mind and consciousness. This clip is the recording of he introducing this significant school and a few concepts of Karma to American Buddhists.

What of Dependent Origination~the Interconnected arising of all things? Somehow we have a separate Karma despite all things Originating Dependently?

Buddhism emphasizes impermanence. While apparently Jainism emphasizes both impermanence and permanence~stemming from their logic system called Anekantavada.
