They made the box puzzle in the hospital much better! The box has nothing inside even more signifying the emptiness than the hair in the original gamel! Moreover, each chain follows a path meaning a different destinies that finally lead to the emptiness!

Think they completely missed the point of combat in the remake.Mothing says Silent hill like a room with 10 enemies on the floor that are invincible until you do the thing and they suddenly come back to life.

For me, when you're in the nightmare hospital after the boss fight and go back to the room where Maria was at, the reason why she's not there, and why you hear that creepy breathing, is because she's actually the one messing up with James' head. It's a hint that Maria is actually a demon who is stalking you throughout the game, and is breathing heavily, happy to see how much you're suffering

There's a serious lack of invencibility frames and correct interrupts, the hospital exterior night section was so busted

You can literally dodge at any time even during a swing, which cancel your attack. It's completely busted when you get the hang of it, far better than RE4R which has no invincibility frame.

I never played silent hill but saw the movie so I know it has some underlying insanity alternate world thing here but I'm also lost too lol. And so far I hate Maria. Every interaction with her around or the things she says is uncomfortable and awkward. Probably intentionally but ick. Still I'm intrigued to find out where it leads and of course we love bawk. Best buddy streamer. Typed this right before she got impaired lol. Didn't feel much there..

Low key this game being this good i think they kinda fumble not doing the first game first. I get how 2 is the most iconic but the first would just make this game godly for players anticipation if they cook like this for the first game as well.

Odds are if this sells well they will do 1 and my guess 3 next.This is a stand alone sh game that has no sequel or prequel so it would make sense to do this first than 1 than 3 because those are connected story wise

There's a lot to like about this but the nurses bother me so much. They don't sound like they're in pain when you hit them, they're too monsterish, you're supposed to feel pity for the enemies you kill in this game. Looks great though, can't wait for a sale.

To make a new game "work" you need ro revive and reignite interest in the franchise which was absolutely dead for majority of gamers for a very long time and that's a big reason why this remake exists.
