My favorite Saddler moment was the one mentioned; the senior moment line. the laugh he does is just fantastic; "OH! ohhohoho!" It was so genuine like he legitimately thought Leon's jab was funny and fully enjoyed their back and forths. I feel like that line alone kinda fleshed him out a little.

Crimson Head's are my favorite Resident Evil enemies. The first encounter with them is the biggest wtf moment for me, hands down. They are fast, they hit hard, and they only show up if you don't burn bodies. CH also have really good sound design when it comes to their moans and claw swipe sounds.

I think a remake Grave digger coulda became a really dynamic boss, imagine him snaking through a building you were in or him popping out of the ground. OOH maybe a multi stage arena where he pops out of the ground and he actually makes tunnels that you can go in yourself.

It’s the only numbered game I’ve never played to any significant degree, so I didn’t even realize those elements were missing, and it didn’t feel like anything was either, which I can’t say for nemmy (but I’m a bit biased since RE3 on psx is tied for my favorite game with RE1 remastered)...felt like a good chunk was missing

I wish RE3R made Gravedigger like a Graboid from Tremors. The Gravedigger can track based on where you are moving and the key to beating him is to fire a mine round away from you. When it blows up the Gravedigger will pop up to investigate the explosion and you hit while it's in the air. Acid rounds should still be it's weakness a throwback to the original. When I was chomping at bit waiting for the park that never came. I was just imagining an open park to fight gravedigger.

Feel like chainsaw majini lost their touch in 5, less intense than the Salvador in 4. Chainsaw takes way too long to wind up, and they nerfed the death animation.

Verdugo are essentially the super refined spiritual successor of the Chimera from 1 but with Plagas controlling them. They're human/insect hybrids with high intelligence.

I think this list could have benefitted from a sub ranking system where instead of just SS, S, A etc, you could have had A+/A-, B+/B- etc to help make more confident decisions on the enemies you were more torn on. IMO, of course.

The iron maiden isn't just a reskin. Unlike the normal regenerator, they pull leon in and there spikes instantly kill you. So id say it still has a spot on this list. Imo

I'm in the minority. I don't find Nemesis scary, nor do I think it has a compelling story, if he even has one. Difficult, sure. If he didn't exist, the series would probably be better. And I don't think Capcom really did, at least it first. There was never any throwbacks until RE6 Ustanak and the story was never explored until Umbrella Chronicles, unless you count the Anderson movies.

I agree, I always thought Nemesis was kind of lame and unfair, at least in his first form in original RE3. Looking like a giant angry potato and growling STARS all the time does not make for a scary monster to me. I didn't really play RE until my teens though, so maybe that has something to do with it? I always thought Mr. X was scarier, even though he was super scripted and not very difficult in original RE2. I think the silent stalker thing works better, but that's just me. The remake really improved it too.

@@Ghostwolf23 Yeah, Mr X in the OG climbing to the top of the Police Station was scary as hell! Plus, him constantly breaking through walls was terrifying, especially the time where you just downed him and he revives instantly. The best part is you find him basically hacked into your game after you've seen everything. They have never done this again, where an entity just exists on a new game+ mode. It is the ultimate replay value add-on in the franchise other than Mercenaries/Raid Mode. It's like a reward we all secretly needed.

@@Ghostwolf23 Nemesis did have the time he broke through the glass or the time he hit the chopper, but he was such a chore to fight, you basically had to run because he was an annoying tank, not because he was scary. I felt like blowing up his launcher and gettting up and dodging in general was 100% luck and all I wanted to do. First Aid and handgun parts were such lame pickups that the fights were never worth it. Wasn't a fan of the soundtrack either. Clearly, Nemesis is the reason people love RE3, but since I didn't, the game felt like an add-on to RE2, Jill's escape. If I were Jill, I wouldn't have waited until the whole town turned to shit.

@@Ghostwolf23 Yeah, Nemesis design was kinda weird. They never had files or data on him until we see the cutscene in ORC. I don't understand why he was released before RE2 and then they release 6 inferior T-103's. I guess the Nemesis parasite was one of a kind, but it just feels like sloppy writing. Yeah, he definitely looked like a ballsack toxic avenger with an asshole mouth and microwaved leather clothing, which I don't understand was so tight on him and probably affected his movement while adding little protection. Actually, he looked like a bunch of wires stuffed in a paper bag wrapped in electrical tape, which you'd think would just tear the bag. Him speaking was just...idk. If he could think, he'd probably go after Umbrella, not Jill. I guess they also mastered mind control, but we don't see that again unless you count Ganados in RE4, which seem like a step down. His last form honestly was just a steak. Imagine food trying to attack you. "You want Stars? I'll give you stars." She'll give him...stars? That just sounds cringey as hell, like worse than RE1 voice acting definitely. I had to hear that like 9 times to get the epilogues, which was the only real reason I replayed this game. I do like certain things in RE3, the locations for example (hospital, park, tower, accessing Police Station from the front, which was all boarded up nonsensically), but where were Lickers? This is after RE2 so the Zombies should be further evolved, but I guess they didn't consider them relevant. Hunters strangely enough are in the game, as if planted there by Umbrella. RE3 felt sloppy.

People act like RE3 is the holy grail and all other RE games have to center around it. These aren't inconsistecies sprouted from RE3, no RE2 as a whole is an abomination and shouldn't exist. That's probably what they think.
