Another nice neat installation waseem That’s a good job!! I like your nice neat soldering work! I won’t use pressfit, I also like that you use silicon grease it makes it for easier future work , people don’t use grease On the flu elbow sockets ,they push them in dry and it folds over the O-ring seals creating leaks ,it only takes a second to rub your finger around the joints with grease. I normally use a magnetic scale reducer on the cold inlet.
@PlumbingDoctors3 жыл бұрын
I don't use press fit tools and never used it before but maybe in the future as there are benefits to it. I use silicone grease on all rubber parts as like you said it will crack or leak in the future of you leave dry. I used to fit scale reducers in hard water areas but I'm not confident that they even do much so i prefer to fit the large water softener devices with properties with hard water

Quick question you solder some fittings at the bottom then the top very odd ,also drain off on flow would be good and perhaps filter under boiler would look better on the return

This is my favourite boiler, i feel the designers at baxi really gave installers and breakdown engineers what we wanted. I just wish they gave a little more room to the left side of the wiring connections, some of us have fat fingers but i also dont like having to strip away excess cable sheathing (white flex), the worry is sometimes when lifting the panel up if i might catch the wires... i am sure i am not the only installer who has thought this....

Does the fitting template give you an option to mark the wall if you wish to have the horizontal flue exiting the wall to either the left and right not just the rear or is it a case of having to measure and mark the wall yourself?

My Baxi 800 cycles on and off every 3 minutes while heating up to the roomstat temp. Switching the pump between the 3 speeds makes little difference. Likewise changing the flow temp made no difference, left it at 55 degrees. Why is it turning on and off so frequently and why is it on 50% of the time? It's no cheaper to run than my old boiler.
