A change of pace and style for the Rollers; Shang-a-Lang gave them the opportunity to explore different rhythms and sounds --- and they could have played ANYTHING to this very partisan crowd!! The guitar solo by Eric which starts at 1.50 shows a relaxed style and his great 'feel' for the acoustic guitar! -- his smile to camera says it all! This video may show better than any other why they were such an exceptional band. They could turn any style of music into a pop hit. This is essentially a Bossa Nova tune. Eric does such a great job. Such talent! Alan's bass is perfect as well. Les sounds great. Accompanying vocals are perfect.
