Always leave the kill switch disconnect from yourself, always always always, especially when alone with zero people around on a rain day . After all you would not want it to get caught on your life jacket.👌👍🤔

Hi … I have another question … how is it driving with the Bimini top up? Does it move around? Does it affect the speed?
@theboatboy Жыл бұрын
Hi, I've not noticed any difference. Doesn't move. It's very rigid with straps pulled tight. I suspect it might have a slight impact up, but not something that i am concerned about.

I am very excited … my boyfriend and I just ordered one… my question is how much does it bog down with 4 adults?
@theboatboy Жыл бұрын
Great congrats. It's all about weigh and positioning. I find you need someone to sit at the bow to get the boat to plane, so its not too back end loaded. cheers

How shallow is the draft?
@theboatboy10 ай бұрын
Motor down about 3 feet, motor raised in water about 2 feet, motor completely up about a foot. The boat has a depthfinder which seems accurate. hope this helps

Hello! I'm extremely interested in one of these as my first boat purchase as it looks like a very complete package for a small family to cruise around and do some tubing, etc. I've reached out to a dealer (about 40 miles away) to go in a look at my options. They don't carry these and will be a special order which I was figuring would be the case with the current state of the world. The spec sheet states the beam (width) on trailer is 7' 1''. Are you able to confirm this? Would be nice to know before I drive all the way out there because I'm hoping to utilize my third garage stall that is 7' 11'' if so, would be amazing if I can get it to fit! Love the boat, look forward to more content that's your plan!

I'm pretty sure the width is as specified. Your vehicle needs to tow 2,000 pounds, as the boat, trailer, engine, stuff is about 1,800 pounds. We wanted the smallest fiberglass boat for 4 adults and it fits the bill. 50 hp is about right. 40hp wouldn't be enough in my view. good luck.

What is the total length of the boat with trailer?
@theboatboy Жыл бұрын
Hi, don't know, it's stored for the winter and not accessible. the trailer i have has the swing tongue which helps with storage in a garage.

Bayliners have a bad reputation… although I have read that they have improved a lot. So far so good with this boat?
@theboatboy8 ай бұрын
I had heard the same thing. So far no issues. We wanted the smallest fiberglass boat for 4 adults with a narrow draft and it was the one which checked the bill the most. The alternative was a fishing boat but I've owned and not liked very much. The M15 is definitely a small lake/salt water sound boat, not a rough water boat. My only complaint with the boat is rain water goes into the bilge and must be pumped out. I don't know if that is standard for fiberglass boats, On our sailboat, rainwater goes into the cockpit and drains out through holes above the waterline and not into the bilge. The boat is made in Mexico.

Is this boat as stable as a sun tracker pontoon boat or should consider this one? Small family of 3, fishing.
@theboatboy2 жыл бұрын
Hi, I don't really know. I suspect a pontoon boat is more stable, but it's a pontoon boat which are aluminum and you sit higher up from the water. This boat is more sporty and can pull tubes with two adults. See if you can rent a pontoon boat to try one out. Good luck in your search.
