I can imagine Lukaon being reborn as Luka, but since he was reborn in as a human, his faerie powers remained dormant. But with the resonance of Arch-Adams his powers awakened but at the same time he was possessed by Dark-Adam, hence his inability to control his powers. And B3 Lukaon is a variant who has succeeded restoring himself in his timeline. Also, the afterlife might be the Spirit Realm where Loptr tried to return to be reborn in a different era. That would support the idea that Lukaon was actually reborn and possibly as Luka. And if not, who knows? We don't know that souls that are reborn stay in their universes or reborn in different ones. New life in a new universe.

Prince Lukaon and Lukaon are different characters. Prince Lukaon is the Lukaon of Bayo 3's timeline. Luka is Prince Lukaon reincarnated 500+ years later, making him simultaneously a variant (elsefellow) to adult Lukaon. Cereza had a crush on Prince Lukaon, which correlates to her liking Luka throughout 1, 2 and eventually ending up together in 3. Now her line "we've always been together" before they kiss makes more sense. Also she didn't become loving of Luka until after the arch adam fusion. She hinted at love when she warned Viola about anything bad happening to him and during the last Strider boss she says she can't imagine life without Luka.

Let's take to note that after Lukaon saves Luka, Cereza looks at Lukaon w/o saying a word, this could mean that Cereza, in that moment, realised that not only the Strider was a faerie and remember them, but also that she realises that Luka is actually the reincarnation of the Prince Lukaon.

I like the idea that Lukaon was reborn as modern day Luka, but both theories make sense to me. Also, when I think about Bayo and Luka ending up together, I also sometimes wonder if there's room for other stories between Bayo 2 and 3, where Bayo and Luka have more encounters and become closer over time. If they could fill that out, their romance it 3 wouldn't feel like as big of a jump, although her relationship with Lukaon now in Origins also helps to fill out the Bayo/Luka romance a little bit more. I wonder what the connection between Cheshire and Luka is.. Bayo has always called Luka cheshire. Now we know Lukaon needed to consume cheshire to become whole again.. Luka in the Bayo3 says he's always there to guide Cereza where she needs to be, while in alice in wonderland cheshire also works as a guide. There seems to be a lot to digest here but we just don't have the info yet

And even then it wasn't like her fighting now where she gets up close and personal. But that's just a personal idea for why she doesn't recognize strider as some form or faerie. I am pissed people criticising Bayonetta 3 story... It actually makes a lot of sense and is perfect continuation of main theme of series. Bayonetta has always been a person that wants to make her own truths and achieve impossible. This is why her tampering with time created so many different timelines, where she was successful. Here we see how Bayonetta ideal world/multiverse looks like with infinite possibilities. Singularity knew that this would eventually destroy reality itself, so he needed to restore universe to original timeline. Bayonetta 3 represents consequences of human creativity. However, in contrast to unreasonable religious dogmatism of Angels, Singularity actions are based on scientific logic. That's why main villain is a scientist. While representing consequences, it still strongly believes that Bayonetta is right, as we should live to create world as we like to fit. Even if universe is against us.

I love your theory about Jeanne, one because I feel like her meeting Viola would also spark her interest in rebuilding the Umbra which I assumed she thought impossible. I think Luka and Cereza went to some kind of Fae Underworld, where Viola or Jeanne would have to save them. Or Loki restoring the pair of them to maintain balance. In my case, I believe Lukaon reincarnated as Luka. This explains why Luka can now transform as Strider, who has a fairy stain glass motif and beast like appearance. A nod to being playfully nicknamed Cheshire by Bayonetta and Lukaon's wolf form. Him awakening his powers, must be due to Singularity actions of destroying the parallel worlds. And being unable to control his new power causes him to go feral. Anyway, maybe Cereza is attracted to Luka is due to her younger self being taken care of by him during Bayonetta 1. Bayonetta may have lost most of her memories of him, but despite that a feeling lingered with in her, evident to her love of lollipops throughout the series. She playfully flirts with him, in her own promiscuous way. Basically like Catwoman or Black Cat. And the most evident Cereza loved Luka is Viola was born. Despite both being drag in Inferno, both are ok and in contact with Rodin, keeping watch on there daughter Viola. Sorry for the confusing explanation, I'm just ranting why Cereza is destined with Luka is thanks to both Lukaon and Luka's help and actions whenever Bayonetta needs help. She is her "clumsy lovely foo"l.

I just wanted to point out that canonically when witches die their souls are revealed to be purple but Jeanne's faded to blue. Morgana pretty much confirmed for me personally that at least something irregular took place during Jeanne's death. It's most likely that she's alive though because another spinoff of past events for her game would suck tbh.

The way you put this it’s the only way that makes the most sense, still bayo3 did a bad job at showing us things but it makes sense cuz Jeanne way of going back to her world was different that all the variants so almost as if she was taken back by magic thus your theory. A friend of mine had the theory that the first playthrough is bayo 1, the harder playthrough is bayo 2 and jeans story is world of arch eve. So those 3 levels are separate entirely, since you get different outfits after each playthrough.

Overall good vidoe but some things don't make sense: 1. Them saying " we'll catch up later could litteraly mean Jeanne just went out on a mission or something along htose lines, like characters in a movie say " we'll catch up" just means that one person wittnesed something that the other person didn't. And since we know that in bayo1 and bayo2 they live together it's safe to assume that they do in this universe aswell since this three universes walked a nearly indetical path. 2. The effect jeanne had while dissapearing in bayo3 is the same effect all Arch Eves that escaped from sigularities body had. 3. Morgana being Madama butterfly doesn't make sense for the following reasons: Alraune and Butterfly had a feud for longer than a thousand years in bayo2 while Morgana was still a living human, her personallity doesn't at all aline with butterfly's(Alraune's does beacause she was a spoiled royal irl), the butterfly motif comes out of nowhere since morgana's main motif's are spider,a bit of a bat, and goat horns. 4. Also Lukaon and Cereza do not recognize each other in bayo 3, they just stare at each other for a few seconds. I apologize for my broken english, just wanted to tell you something I thought you should know. Keep up the good work tho❤

Wait, I think I just figured out how 1 & 2 split. The end of 2 has Aesir try to flee to another time. Balder intervenes. What if that sent him with Aesir into an alternate past, that being Bayonetta 1’s past? That makes 1’s timeline a branch of 2’s timeline. That means the events of 1 never happened for Bayonetta from 2, but she learned who she was the same way Bayonetta from 1 did, that is, her Left Eye of Darkness resonating with Brave Cereza not forgetting who she was. This doesn’t explain why Bayonetta from 2 has amnesia, but it explains everything else.

idk who needs to hear this(maybe just me🤭) but on LatAM ,i seen all 3 Bayonetta games (specially Bayonetta 3)climbing the Amazon and other sites lists, and i don't think its only on my country either 😃 For context its the first time i seen Bayonetta 3 since december on the top 30 general games, and top 20 on Switch list, beating more recent games like Fire Emblem Engage and Kirby Deluxe, this happened instantly after Bayonetta Origins released. I know Amazon online sales don't tell the whole story specially for Bayonetta Origins, wich is going to sell mostly through Vouchers but at least rest assured it had a positive impact

I honestly doubt this is connected to another timeline. Because think about it. Jeanne knows of the events that will unfold, Cereza activated or has access to a portion of the Left Eye, and Singularity has died mostly likely, due to him believing this last power is what he needs to finally kill Cereza. Bayonetta Origins is a branched off timeline, where another Brave Cereza will be created. Because if you think about it, from Bayonetta 1 when Cereza brought Brave Cereza to her timeline, it is when they are in the Witch Hunts that she activated her Left Eye. Origins Bayonetta didn't seemingly need that, her Left Eye awakened after the motivation of Jeanne pushed her to unlock its power even if it is a bit of it. So in short, this is a different timeline and it won't lead to the events in Bayonetta 3. It started off as a branched timeline when Bayonetta 1 raised our future Bayonetta 3 to be brave despite lose and struggle. Bayonetta Origin's Cereza isn't Bayonetta 3's Cereza. It just doesn't make since. After all, once a timeline is interrupted, like Bayonetta 3's, then Singularity entering their timeline and changing events will branch that one off to a new one. Where Jeanne knows what will happen, therefore train hard to prevent it, and Cereza unlocking the Left Eye means she has access to it years beforehand, making her a new Cereza and a new timeline.

I still think there is a good chance that Jeanne was revived since she was absorbed by Singularity rather than just being killed by his laser stick. I don't know if you've seen this info yet but if you die during the final boss fights of Origins it is revealed that if young Cereza was killed that event creates a timeline where prince Luakoan grew up to be a proper fairy king and eventually the fairy variant that we meet in Bayonetta 3.

So my only question to this, is that if This whole story was just for Brave timeline, then did the rest of the other Bayonnetta not go through this same thing? And if so then what was the point of the other two games then? Also, why call it “origins”, instead of “origin”? I understand if the first two games were to set up for the third game in terms of plot and stuff. In regards of the narrator, who is this witch? Does she have ties to the leprechauns, not the faery particularly named after them, and would she have luck or probability abilities? She has to be overseeing the recorded events of each origin, and has to keep the secret with the players of what was going on in the interfered timelines.

I have à theory when bayo of the first game return to the present but with the past modification by possed balder we change reality we dont play bayonetta of the begining in the end game but brave cereza and she become the arch eve origins but the timeline affect the brave timeline because Enzo in bayo 2 know her old amnesia because of that brave cereza is our bayonetta

Couple of things still don’t makes sense to me if anyone fancies clearing it up: Why didn’t Morganna just go into the forest and sacrifice a demon herself? If this Cereza is the one from Bayo 3 why didn’t she recognise Cheshire in 3? Surely they’d have some teary eyed reunion.

Hold your horses. If the Cereza we play in Origins is the same as the one we play in Bayonetta 3, then how come Viola inherited Cheshire then? It would have made more sense that the Cereza in Origins is Whittingham Fair Bayonetta since it's more plausible that Whittingham Fair Bayonetta and Cheshire reunited once she was powerful enough and then pass Cheshire to her daughter. It's most likely that Singularity calling Bayo 3 Cerezita "Arch Eve Origin" was him mistaking her with the actual Arch Eve Origin
