I started with a model A when I first started teaching more years ago than I care to remember and stuck all the way through to an Archimedes RiscPc 600 they were great computers. Their simplicity of interfacing with the 'real' world was exceptional and we used them expensively in physics experiments and control applications involving lego models, model railways etc. I have even stuck with Artworks or Xara as it is now, still the fastest vector drawing program for any computer.

hi, yes.. as soon as i got that prompt on the screen all the old memories came flooding back.. i can't wait to get some of the old games running on it.. my father also used the master when designing control systems and circuits.. he used the user port to generate the control signals etc.. brilliant bit of kit.. even now
