They've had three different stories on here that have been about David's breakfast habits, and all three have been lies. At this point, I'm not convinced David Mitchell even eats breakfast.

The most thing I like about these boys how they matured. I feel Lee became much more chill, and David since he got a child he is much more bubbly, and I never imagined putting David and bubbly in the same sentence.

Interestingly, the Spanish word for breakfast, "desayuno," means exactly the same thing, and this is also the origin of the French "déjeuner" (which became lunch, whereas breakfast became petit-déjeuner), all variations of "to break/undo the fast".

We rarely say Diner. Café yes. These types of 'Café' are usually along the high street. When you enter you can smell the grease and fat from deep fat fryer used. There's usually 9 or 10 tables all in line with one another with salt + pepper on the table and red/brown sauce. You can usually get a decent fried Brekfast and cup of tea (or coffee) for around 5 or 6 quid.

i dont think david knows what kind of breakfast might be added to a menu as a regular item. if i ordered a meal ANYWHERE and they gave me a meal that was like 50% grilled mushroom caps i would be so upset about it. why didn't he just make it like a really mushroomy omelette or breakfast sandwich. who in their right mind eats 4 FULL MUSHROOM CAPS in one meal.

@robertfinch1658 1) Not really true - distancing between persons along with coverage of the airways lowers the chances (nothing is 100% flawless, though) of germs successfully jumping from person to person, so not useless. 2) If you have a problem with medical advice given by doctors to television producers, go back to 2021 and take it up with the BBC.

@@lucaslorenz8812 I agree too, although I will say I think this series is a lot more fun than the last one. The last one just seemed depressing, like they were going through the motions. They seem to be enjoying themselves again this series. I do sort of hope this show goes on forever, but if it does end soon then we can all agree it will go down as one of, if not the greatest panel show of all time. So many classic moments. Endlessly rewatchable.

@@tomcanningmusic4923 The team captains, however old and tired they may be, are what keep the show going. David, Lee and Rob are the reason the show is so good. An odd Bob or Greg or Claudia may appear and do wonderful things, but it's the regulars that keep the level of the show so consistently high. Genuinely curious: why are there so many Welsh people on UK TV? There are only a few more than 3M citizens in Wales compared to 65M in England, yet they are everywhere on TV. I'm not complaining, Wales seems to have an overabundance of lovely talented ladies and funny entertainers. :-) Did I just answer my question?
