Some of the best nights I've had at concerts were seeing Wolf Alice shows...I traveled up the east coast here in the U.S. for a few shows last time they were here, so glad I did.. Love this band forever .

@@cgo5161 Could be politics. I know they boycott Israel. Joff's Palestine flag is always on display! I think they will eventually headline coz they're good enough and present a very eclectic mix of music for everyone. Ellie also needs to develop her confidence more. She seems quite nervous at times and her grabbing the mic and just singing without guitar doesn't suite her style. She's definitely a guitarist/singer not a singer alone. Also their stage show is very spartan. They need to get some video backdrops in there to enhance their presentation. If you look at all the headline acts they offer more then just music and people clock onto the visual distractions as it enhances their experience. That said I still think they're the best new band in Britain just on the strength of their music although I did find Blue Weekend a bit disappointing.

I love Wolf Alice and have now seen them live 3 times with tickets for at least 2 more next year. However if you want to see them live go to a venue. I saw them at Reading in 2019 and they were great but the crowd were crap. Just a bunch of kids who were at READING FESTIVAL. I nearly went this year and am glad I did not. The crowd are barely moving. I stood there in 93 for Rage and you had better believe me we were moving. Pay Wolf Alice the respect they deserve and get moshing. Amazing I got that out without swearing!.

This is the first song they played, the crowd got a lot better as the set went on, probably the best set of the whole festival, coming from someone in the front section. Also comparing any crowd to Rage in 93 is setting them up for failure!

Corran. Love your comment about rage. Brilliant. You would expect Smile to open a set and when you hear that base you know what's coming. I can remember the first time I heard Smile and I knew it would be the one to lose your mind to. Hey 51 and still going strong, nearly!.
