Yes exactly what happened to me. And with Mother Tongue I kinda didn't like it. But the second time I listened I absolutely loved it. Like, I really prefer the old Bring Me The Horizon, but this new one is surprising me on the positive side, and I love it. I want more of this.

@beckynorman31236 жыл бұрын
quelant if there were that many singing in that part I probably wouldn’t bother singing either. But the point is he sang this live and his vocals are improving since he wrecked them from screaming badly
@coleG1126 жыл бұрын
@quelant Lmao. Back track is required to get a crowd sound. He sang live, but the electronic stuff was probably plugged straight on the track rather than mic'd, so it gets mixed louder than the rest of the mix. All sorts of things could have gone into what happened. Lip sync is when there's a recording of you, singing behind you, so if you don't sing there's still audio of you singing. What happened in the video is just.... Not singing lol
@TroubleinSpace926 жыл бұрын
100% that's not live vocals, not sure about lip sync but definitely being edited somewhere. Not saying he can't sing but he can't sing that good lol
@minnae25976 жыл бұрын
I don’t know of anyone at all in this thread replies to me but I said that he’s improving, not that he’s the new Whitney Houston. If you compare these vocals to the ones he had some years ago there’s drastic positive changes. Just saying. Auto-tune or similar (I don’t know the vocabulary) doesn’t explain the sustained, clear vocals and his range here. I think auto-tune just smoothes out the vocals to keep them from sounding rough. I just think he’s better now.

AndyRC yeah he’s really great actually. He, as in *THE* most celebrated vocal coach of ALL TIME- ... has saved the voice of many singers over the years. He is particularly gifted in the pop/rap genres, so he is a must for a former deathcore vocalist who’s broken his box and is migrating to Pop as a last ditch effort to stay sorta relevant and barely slide by. Once again Mr. Autotune has stepped up and saved the day. 😒

Some people are a lot like clouds, you know (Clouds, you know, clouds, you know) 'Cause life's so much brighter when they go You rained on my heart for far too long (Far too long) Couldn't see the thunder for the storm Because I cut my teeth and bit my tongue 'Till my mouth was dripping blood But I never dished the dirt, just held my breath While you dragged me through the mud I don't know why I tried to save you 'cause I can't save you from yourself When all you give a shit about is everybody else And you just can't quit, why don't you deal with it? I think it's time to stop You need a taste of your own medicine 'Cause I'm sick to death of swallowing Watch me take the wheel like you, not feel like you Act like nothing's real like you So, I'm sorry for this It might sting a bit Some people are a lot like clouds, you know (Clouds, you know, clouds, you know) 'Cause life's so much brighter when they go And I spent too long in a place I don't belong I couldn't see the thunder for the storm But you won't admit, why don't you get a grip? 'Cause you can't keep going on and on and on and on like this And you just can't quit, why don't you deal with it? I think it's time to stop You need a taste of your own medicine 'Cause I'm sick to death of swallowing Watch me take the wheel like you, not feel like you Act like nothing's real like you So, I'm sorry for this It might sting a bit 'Cause I cut my teeth and bit my tongue 'Till my mouth was dripping blood But I never dished the dirt, just held my breath While you dragged me through the mud Yeah, I cut my teeth and bit my tongue 'Till my mouth was dripping blood But I never dished the dirt, just held my breath While you dragged me through the mud And you just can't quit, why don't you deal with it? I think it's time to stop You need a taste of your own medicine 'Cause I'm sick to death of swallowing Watch me take the wheel like you, not feel like you Act like nothing's real like you So, I'm sorry for this It might sting a bit Taste of your own medicine (Taste of your own medicine) Yeah, I'm sick to death of swallowing (Sick to death, wow) Watch me take the wheel like you, not feel like you Act like nothing's real like you So, I'm sorry for this It might sting a bit Some people are a lot like clouds, you know (Clouds, you know, clouds, you know) 'Cause life's so much brighter when they go

Oli's vocals have improved loads, no matter the genre, he's obviously worked on it.

Much like blending linkin park with 5 sos, but i prefered bmth like this, rather than their past metalcore days, we re all grow together with their songs, just leave those legacy to our successor later
