friend you are thefirst out of many many food programs, that observed, that handling, brushing the food would remove the seasoning** from the food... i am 30 miles duewest of "Chi-Town" and i aint never in 35 years heard a neighbor talkin what i finally concluded about what would happen if doing certain steps in cooking, would/could remove important seasoning. God bless and thankyou.. i am comforted...by the similarity in perception and especially concern in bringing good food to others🤗👍👌👋

Never cooked ribs before and I have made these twice (thrice counting the ones I'm making today) and followed the recipe exactly (with homemade rub, however) and they were excellent. 2nd time, I omitted the cola and they weren't as good or ad tender. The Coke really makes a difference. Thanks so much for a great recipe and instructions!

Shiny part of the foil is the one that touches the meat. It’s a coating of protection so the aluminum doesn’t touch the food.

I have to admit this. To me I don't want the meat to fall off the bone when I touch the bone. I think that the time in the oven should be lowered (personally I am cooking Ribs ATM at 220 Ff for about 3-ish hours and I like to add citric acid (Apple/Pineapple/Orange,Whatever) to help tenderize the meat even more over the long haul. Other than that, I really love the recipe! Ty Man for this education for myself.

Hello from New England! I want to try your recipe, but I have a question: You initially placed your ribs top side down...when you took them out of the oven the second time to put the bbq sauce on, did you flip the ribs so you basted the top of the ribs? I didn't see you flip them. I am going to try your delicious-looking ribs tonight, and I will flip them and then baste, as I think that is correct...I hope! Also, I only have Pepsi so Pepsi it will be! Love your accent!

The best baby back ribs have a “bite” to them. They are NOT fall off the bone-heck, just place a rack of ribs in the oven at 200 degrees F and cook up until you can pull the bones out with your fingers....nothing difficult about that. But make a tasty rib that has just a touch of “bite” to it-now that’s an art.
