Hi Sandra, where I live on the high moors of northern England, sheep and cattle farming are the only types of agriculture possible. They are low impact, very sustainable, and provide business and income where no arable farming can take place. I do agree that a move towards vegan / vegetarian diets is a really good idea.

Depends on your definition of 'good': "From mobilizing climate action with leaders across sectors, to dismantling white supremacy in our network and broader business community, to organizing against wealth and gender inequality, the B Corp movement is taking collective action on the issues that matter most to our global economic system." There's no information about its shareholder structure or who owns it, runs it or who started it. It's a cerification system for 'for-profit' companies that appears to do nothing to reward non-profit behaviour, so isn't it a weak system of peacocking? I haven't delved deeply, but I'd be interested to know what its certification has to say about respecting national sovereignty. Btw, the UN's SDGs don't include overpopulation.

Profit is very important. B Corps can only be certified if they are for profit! However, profit at any cost is where we are now. The planet suffers, the people suffer, all for profit, profit, profit. Profit is not a dirty word to B Corps, but it is only part of the equation of L-I-F-E - where there no balance D-E-A-T-H is inevitable.
