I largely agree. however, I'd like to offer an alternate viewpoint. Submission has nothing to do with whether we feel like a man is worthy. A priest does not say to himself "is my bishop worthy of my respect today?" rather he simply submits. The question we should instead be asking is whether a man is in authority over us... And random men on the internet definitely are not!

We are a nation of priests. Consequently all of us, men and women, are called to evangelize. Sadly for men, many women are put in the positions of authority because men have abrogated their vocations. However, in each local Catholic Church and diocese men are in authority as the local bishop, priest, and deacon and all lay people, men and women, submit to these men. As a member of a local parish, Vanessa submits to her male priest. bishop, and deacons. As a member of the church universal and part of this universal priesthood, called to bring the good news, she has both the right and duty to evangelize her generation. Old men like me cannot do that nearly as well.

That's not how submission works...The wife submits to the husband's role not his personality. No man on Earth except Jesus is worthy of submission. Therefore, when you submit to your husband it is really the Lord you are submitting to.

The Bible when it talks about being submissive doesn't just talk about being submissive in relation to your husband, but being submissive in general. You don't get to just be like "well I'm not married, i guess i get to rattle online and tone police men, but when i get married I'll stop". No, that's not what submissive means.

1 Timothy 2:12 - But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. ^^It is unbecoming of a woman to tell men what to do especially if she isn’t even a mother.(Have your own kids then tell then what to do as prescribed by the bible) 1 Corinthians 14:34 - Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. ^^Instead of trying to gain attention by doing a second rate job of what many other men with authority are doing you should find a man to take of you and obey the LAW 1 Corinthians 14:35 - And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. ^^Get a husband to speak to you at home instead of being so feisty and lonely. With that attitude you ain’t going nowhere 1 Timothy 2:11 - Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection ^^This is good advice even for a man.
