God bless u Sister, I remember when I was a protestant & I 1st find out that Sola scriptura was unbiblical, but what surprised me was that I wasn't surprised. I clearly understood right away that this is why there's so many diff denominations in protestantism 💯 its literally bc everybody is coming up with their own interpretation, & it was all bc of sola scriptura. So I thank the HolySpirit for actually showing me the truth, but I believe it comes down to yourself as well, willing to listen 1st to accept the fact that it can be false, so I didn't Harden My Heart Like pharaoh did... And thats the problem with a lot of protestants 2day, is they dont want to be erroneous, so instead of listening 1st, & following Proverbs 18:17; they want to argue 1st, & keep moving the goalpost cuz they just want to be right, & don't care what the other side states, so they just try to refute Catholics instead of listening to the arguments at hand... The words that Jesus spoke is SPIRIT. Jesus said that. Anything that Jesus DID NOT speak is not from God. And scripture even by catholic standards is the only thing that’s INSPIRED. Think about that.

Sometimes KZbin doesn't send me notifications of comments, sometimes I miss them - I have a fairly busy schedule, for example I'm getting ready right now to take my dad on a fishing trip and will have limited Internet access, I might not go through all the notifications I miss during that time. It emerged because the papist church was proclaiming that there were 2 divine wellsprings of revelation holy scripture and papist traditions the reformers said BS to that only God’s word is inerrant revelation not Romish dogma

Sola Scriptura=the Scriptures ALONE are the inspired-inerrant Word of God and therefore the ultimate authority for the Christian and the Christian church. Christ and His apostles taught this.

@@Catholic101A. Christ and His apostles did believe that the 39 OT canon was the inspired-inerrant Word of God. See Psalm 119, Luke 24:27, 2 Timothy 3:16-17

I can see your Master's in theology is coming along nicely! Let me see. Do I believe in Sola Scriptura? No ! :) As mentioned many times, if the Bible were that clear there wouldn't be so many different Protestant denominations and cults. God is not the author of confusion, but Sola Scriptura is.

Sweet young lady. I love your passion. The issue Protestants have w Catholicism is Catholics dogma and traditions contradict the Bible. If you have a true fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom, and you pray with all your heart and ask God to reveal His One Truth to you concerning Catholicism, He will answer your prayer.
