Julius Caesar plotting to take over Rome be like:
@esmeraldagreen19924 жыл бұрын
Ostensibly Junius Brutus and his cohorts assassinated Julius Caesar in order to prevent him from destroying the republic by making himself king, it was a takeover by the elite who effectively stopped Caesar from enacting a series of reforms that would have curtailed the power of that very elite, the high ranking super wealthy senators and magistrates of the time. Caesar's assassination instead of freeing the Roman people, who were pretty free for the time period resulted in their enslavement. Octavius, Caesar's nephew and heir, took over Rome and made himself emperor. Cives, citizens became subjects, Rome, the empire and the citizens became the property of the emperor and the citizens lost all the rights they had since the founding of the republic. SPQR (Senatus populusque Romanus), the Senate and the people of Rome, became ISQR (Imperator senatusqe Romanus)

It should be written “qui pro quo” and it’s like using “which” instead of “what” in a wrong way.The meaning of this phrase is misunderstanding.
