But the also respond to reality. The sister gave them a dose of reality, its not going to get better if you continually do nothing about it. And to even further cement that, she had surgery and ever since then, she has disciplined herself to stop overeating and eat healthier, despite the temptations. That doesnt translate to being a banshee or being loud mouthed, those are terms for the overly sensitive who expect someone to be nice 24/7 and have some respect for their feelings which isnt how the world works. He needs to realize that he’s not the only one this effects, which i’m sure he knows already. But continuing down this path could kill him, and who would be taking care of his mother then? I have a friend who is nearly 400lbs and when he sits down, he has to spread wide so that he has enough room for his belly. If he sits too low, he looses feeling in his legs... it's scary.
