Hi. I’ve been window cleaning for some time. I will admit that I’m a big man and the belts are annoying me. But when I saw your harness I would like to ask where do you get them from or a link to help me get one. Would be a game changer for me as this will reduce my time frame at a job. I’m from Melbourne in Australia. Thank you if you could help.

hi I no this question I'm going to ask as nothing to do with this video but could you tell me I just done someone's windows they have not been cleaned for years I got them clean again but their are still bits in the corners what the brush has bot taken of would it be be best to use some bronze wool next time ar could you suggest something else as I am new to this any help would be most grateful regards barry
@TradMan4 жыл бұрын
Hey Barry, yeah personally I always do first cleans traditionally if possible, get nose to glass if safe and accessible to do. That way you can guarantee a perfect finish. Use bronze wool and either pink stuff (available in most places) or Ungers rub out. Also use a razor for anything like paint, silicone, cement etc. Wfp is a great maintenance tool if used right (doesn't always work on everything) but doing trad first time round gives you peace of mind its 100%. You can always take the worst off with wfp then trad it after 😊👍🏻

To trad man or anyone eles willing to answer, does it matter that you soap up, say 3, windows in a row when working in direct sunlight in colder climates? I've been in direct sunlight alot today but only dared soap up one at a time, for fear of the water evaporating even though it has been reasonably cold, ie, is it the sun that evaporates the water or the climate? Still always learning! Lol.
@TradMan4 жыл бұрын
How cold is the temperature roughly that your working in?
@TradMan4 жыл бұрын
Usually if its cooler but not freezing then you can get away with soaping up more, its just experimenting and experience 😉
@graemewillis14134 жыл бұрын
@@TradMan so it would be more of a winter sun if that makes sense? Where it deflects off the glass. Probably about the same temperatures as you are experiencing in Scotland atm. Appreciate the feedback bud.

why nobody talks about the prices how much to charge typical prices for example each one of those windows how much is the cost or charge per hour or charge for each window examples?
@TradMan4 жыл бұрын
Usually its because prices differ place to place. Even within the same area prices can be very different. It also depends on the service, there are companies that do glass only and others that clean the entire window.

Why blade the sill if your going to wipe it anyway
@TradMan4 жыл бұрын
If you blade it first you get rid of most of the solution, keeping the cloths dry longer and using a lot less cloths per day, less cloths to have to wash in the machine too. 👍🏻

I use Tesco’s lemon it’s the best for slip and it doesn’t leave loads of bubbles so you’re quicker and the way I get the slip to go faster Is soak the applicator then I spot the glass and the applicator so you want you’re solution to hit each other for the slip and to stop the solution drying into the glass wet the glass then a spot of solution on what you wet then you’re applicator and it flies and last for ages honestly I’ve tried them all nothing beats Tesco’s lemon try it you won’t go back.
