I have found difficult to set boundaries and I started to do it from a place of non flexible angry or defensive attitude. Then I realized that even though he was respecting them it was not really comfortable and loving conversations so the trust was still not there. I am trying now to come from a loving place expressing my need or boundaries from a safety position (it is possible and I deserve it) but it is sometimes hard to learn this or access to your assertive part. I guess it is a process... first you have no boundaries and then you have strict non possible boundaries expressed with resentment (you don’t do this to me anymore) until you find the balance of the femenino energy to have boundaries integrated in your believe system 😌

@ about 58:00, of you're engaged and your sex isn't great, ask yourself, "am I ok with this for the REST OF MY LIFE?" Sex is only about 10% of your relationship, but it affects all the rest of your life. You will begin to dread having him even touch you. So as Chelsea says you MUST have that heart to heart convo with your man. If he doesn't care about pleasing you now, he certainly won't want to try harder to please you AFTER you get married.

I've been listening and learning mainly from Helena and Jack Butler for just over a year now and have so far identified a few key things about me and my energy. I have in past relationships either withdrawn completely to protect myself or leant forward out of neediness. My true feminine essence is really starting to show through since I started deliberately practicing present awareness and being consciously aware of my intrinsic value. From this place I am redescovering my boundaries and gaining deep sense of peace.

What do you do if your long term boyfriend is very loving, but VERY selfish and mostly thinks of his needs and gets lazy, forcing me to lean forward? For example, he rarely plans dates anymore, if so it’s just dinner. He always wants me to come over to his house, and somehow I always end up bringing food to cook dinner together. He usually cooks, but I have to bring the food. The one time I didn’t come over with food, he seemed upset and the next few times, he asked me well before dinner time to thaw out some fish (from my house) to bring for dinner - forcing me into bringing dinner. This seemed to come after we went out for sushi and the bill was $100. Way over priced. I feel like it was his way of making things even, but now we’re in this pattern of never going out anymore and me bringing dinner to his house almost every night. He makes about 5 times the amount of money that I do, so I’m taking it that maybe he only sees me as casual and not someone serious that he wants to invest in. We’ve been together for 2.5 years. How do I break this pattern? It makes me feel used but it seemed like the over priced sushi made him feel used. We’ve been out to eat at very nice places and the large bill was never an issue. I tried to lean back by not bringing food, but it just made him mad. What are your thoughts?
@HelenaHartCoaching4 жыл бұрын
I would start by adjusting your mindset around him “forcing” you to bring dinner, and see that as a choice that YOU’RE making - that will help you feel less powerless in this situation. Have you let him know that you love spending time with him, and bringing food over to his place every night is starting to not feel good to you?
@vhayashi73694 жыл бұрын
Sounds Narcissistic and selfish. If you are not happy, I would leave the Relationship. I had the same issues with my last boyfriend and told him and he refused to change and wasted more of my time. If you aren't happy, leave. I get the feeling he won't change.
@Kmahersh014 жыл бұрын
I’m just re-watching this video. #1 hit home. “By not having a preference or standards, you’re going to attract a man who doesn’t want to know your preference or standards.” It says I need to get clear on my standards for dating. I struggle with this because I’ve always been passive and indecisive and struggle to enforce any boundaries. As a child, I never had a say with two dominant older brothers, so I learned to be happy just going with the flow. Now it’s carrying over into my relationships. I need coaching on how to figure out what I want in life/relationships and then how to actually enforce those standards. I’m so used to just being grateful for what I’m given and as a result attract self centered men where the focus is alway on them and never on me. Thank you, your videos are so helpful.

Hi, I am in Fl, looking for a long term relationship, my husband died 3 1/2 years ago, I am very lonely and finding a real man who is not a liar or a WTB scammer is not easy. I like a guy a lot, met him him on POF, but did not tell the truth about my age, he is now upset with me, we get along very well, don't know how to get him back. I am a senior, do not look my age at all and know I get away with murder with the way I look. I am petite, and thin, have very long hair which the men like a lot. HELP

What if a guy wants to go dutch on things and you don’t feel comfortable doing that? I don’t feel valued if I went dutch… should I bring it up? Or leave the situation?

I just enrolled in the "Magnetic Mastery" course. I'm excited and a little nervous about this investment in myself.

I have been dating a guy 4 months but he has taken no sexual advances towards me. He is out every Saturday with friends. Only made one Saturday night for me . He messages morning & when he is home from work & is generally lovely & we get on so well when we do see each other but it’s only once a week. Well I finally had enough I told him what I expected from a relationship & him keeping me at arms length is not fair anymore . The fear I am his ex wanting constant attention is not fair on me. His priorities are all wrong. Well he has taken it I don’t trust him & he has walked away. So I guess he isn’t ready for an adult relationship.

Another man is wanting to meet me, but physically and looks are not what I like at all. He is very attentive, knows I am having back issues, in pain, not fit company to meet anyone now. He offered to pick up anything I might need but, I am very upfront, tell them what is important to me. HELP

If I can't take your classes yet when would they be available again?
@HelenaHartCoaching4 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure if or when they’ll be available again, but if you aren’t able to make the live classes you can submit your questions beforehand and you’ll have lifetime access to the recordings where they’ll be answered. 💜

I want sum1 to tell me if its still not ok for a girl to make a move on a guy in at least NY if not the whole of America?? It would just really help me to make sense of all of the things these American women say.
