I'm glad I watched this video, for two reasons. The first reason, of course, is because the video was fire, as your videos always are. The second reason is because it made realize that Vow of the Indomitable is exactly what one of my builds is lacking. Before, I was thinking about using Barricade Shield, but Vow's particular utility fits my needs a whole lot better than Barricade Shield does, and seeing it in action in this video was what showed me that. So big thanks for that!

Fantastic work man. I was so happy to see you try the shield boys, but it's sad they didn't follow the rules. Any particular reason you didn't use the mimic tear with a shield? I feel you could have got up to shenanigans with stunlocks, or by having the mimic use a different shield from you to get different effects. Please keep the bangers coming, I love your work.

I did a "powerstance" jar shield run before (can't actually powerstance shields sadly), one was fire affinity and the other was frost, dual wielding and alternating strikes to proc frost build up then cleansing it with the fire one. It was pretty fun!

The Erdtree Greatshield is also great to use against the draconic sentinel's fire ball attack. It lets the sentinel get a taste of their own spam medicine.

Did you ever try out the flamethrower shield? I think it's called the Visage Shield. Also, the Crimsonwhorl Bubbletear heals you when you take elemental damage, which might have made Rykard's lava a bit more bearable.

Thanks for the feedback! I was thinking of adding a stats list near the end for boss attempts and how long the run took. For this particular run, it was so broken that most Bosses took 1-3 tries which wasn't worth highlighting. _Rykard sucked tho lmao_
